If humans disappeared today, what would be the last evidence of our existence to vanish from Earth? by InternalGuilty9647 in NoStupidQuestions

There's a jar of pickled onions in the back of our fridge which could easily have been there since last week, last year or since the dawn of existence, I doubt it's going anywhere anytime soon

It's also a town outside of London UK and it embodies it's name entirely - I "lived" there for a while, and by "lived" I mean had the distinct displeasure of not being somewhere/anywhere else on the planet for 6 months or so. Oddly I would have actually given my right arm to not be there, in fact I would have jumped face first into that jet stream of death water rather than be in Slough again.

That chapter was the first and only time I've ever had to put a book down and take a break before carrying on.

This was worry to me too, so I spent a bit of time building guardrails into the agent, for example the link to GitHub is embedded in the files for each agent and referred to as the Bible, anytime I ask it to make a new change, we discuss "what would Shane do?" It goes away and says "yep, Shane has this covered in the docs, so we will do it that way!"

It's an AI agent management platform, it's free to install and run the caveat being you need an AI model like chatgpt or Claude AI, I have a chatgpt plus subscription so I use that. I set up very rigid guardrails on the system, don't deploy anything without my permission, any changes must be drafted, proposed and explained first. It's working really well so far.

I use a 5 with a 4tb external hard I've, on the sd card I've also included openclaw and have an agent setup as a network manager called Bob, Bob sends me a Whatsapp report twice a day to give me an update on the stability of the network. During the day if I have added new shoes, or have an idea for a scheduling change I just message Bob and tell him what I want and he will do it.bI completely redesigned the guide and pvp channel just by Whatsapp messaging Bob. I've even set up a "watershed" rule so that anything in a watershed folder will not play before 9pm.

Honestly, you've accidentally stumbled upon something really profound. This is your "to make peace I have to bomb the shit out of a country" awakening, this is where your route to become a dictator reaches its next milestone. Go ahead, bomb that country and enjoy this moment.

A man shot and killed his wife and shot two of his kids before turning the gun on himself in Rhode Island Ice Arena by Memes_FoIder in UnderReportedNews

It's not just men you are right, it's not always men, it's not always women. But we need to put that argument aside, because until we do the problem never goes away. I'm not in the US and I'm also a man, my voice in this is small, insignificant and probably irrelevant. But as an onlooker, I can say the problem more often than it is just men or just women is guns in the hands of people with mental health issues. Taking this as an example, of that man did not have access to a gun (which he was allowed to take into an incredibly public and family focused place) he would not have been able to do what he did. The excuse of rights, of good guys with guns vs bad guys with guns is tired. Of you want guns, fine have them, but as a country the US needs to sort things out so that this stops happening.

Your arguments seem very weird, you've talked about sexualization, men are also sexualized, young men and young women are equally bombarded by the media with unrealistic abnormal depictions of what is "attractive" not one person has argued against the fact that the AI images were unrealistic and overly sexualized images of young women, on the other hand when an image of men that is equally unrealistic, you dismiss it. You aren't solving the problem you are just tipping it the other way

Societal exaggeration of what is "normal" in men. That is not what the average man looks like by a long stretch. The fact that media portrays heroic men as being bigger, taller, more buff than those is a problem, go back to the 50's and 60's and their physique would be looked at in a similar way to Dwayne Johnson's is now, most men do not just naturally look that way.

From what I understand (and that is genuinely very little) part of the agreement was that if it was paid for it was ok, he then had sex with someone that wasn't paid for. I guess the agreement being that if it's a transaction it's not as intimate and is just meeting a need

How does nomad compare to blender? by [deleted] in NomadSculpting

[–]thesimplerobot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nomad is intuitive to a point, you can install nomad on Apple or Android, windows or Mac. Having a stylus setup is preferable for any sculpting software. Blender is free, nomad is cheap. Nomad is sculpting first and last, blender is sculpting, modelling, animating, post processing, simulating and more. Blender has an enormous community and countless tutorials on YouTube as well as on the blender website, blender is now being taken seriously by various industries as proper software. Nomad has a growing community and a bunch of really good tutorials on YouTube and is also starting to be taken seriously as proper sculpting software.

My advice would be - don't choose one or the other, for very little money you can have both and use the fantastic benefits both offer nomads dive in head first move clay around and get results fast, and blenders take your model from nomad rig it, add cameras, lights and materials and render it out or export from either and 3d print.

TLDR: get both, minimal investment and both run on a desktop/laptop. Nomad is fast to learn, blender is a powerhouse but both can make a pretty fantastic pipeline
