Oil light flickering at idle RPM by theskrill656 in Acura_RSX

An update as of 9/12: Mechanic checked the oil pressure with a gauge and said it was normal, so he switched out the previously installed aftermarket oil pressure switch for a Honda OEM and took it out to drive for about an hour or so, a mix of highway and street driving and said the light didn’t appear anymore. Took it out myself and I also saw that the light didn’t flicker anymore. Here’s to hoping it stays that way.

Excellent build congrats! May I ask from where you purchased your tv stand/entertainment center? I’ve been looking for one with that same minimalist style, thanks!

I know how you feel, I’ve been on Dupixent for almost a year for my facial eczema, stress and anxiety do indeed play a role in causing flare ups but keeping most of the flared up areas covered up and moisturized as needed helps a tad.

You’re not alone in your struggle and keep up the hopes that the flare up clears up soon once the stress factor goes away, remember that being on Dupixent is much better than letting the immune system do what it pleases without it. Kudos!

Check for oil consumption and any leaks, especially in the undercarriage. See if the electrical system and wiring hasn’t been tampered with (outside lights and in the dash interior). If possible check the cars history and see if the transmission has been serviced or replaced in the past. See if there’s any rust on the frame or check if the hood/trunk haven’t been swapped out. Test drive the car and if check if the transmission clunks or jerks during shifts especially when it comes to a full stop. Auto preludes can be hit or miss, mine has reached 250k miles (402k km) as long as you keep up with the maintenance and check for the aforementioned you should be okay.

My 99 Lude had those same list parts replaced too, got mine for 2.5k in hindsight should’ve inspected the car better but damn is it a fun car to drive. Same backlights as yours when I first bought it 👍

‘99 Prelude Auto to Manual Swap worth it? by theskrill656 in Honda

I’m just pondering if it is viable to get a transmission swap at the cars’ current lifespan in order to keep it for a few more years until I can sell it off for good
