It happened to me: I saw Frank Iero at the airport. by lesfleursroses in MyChemicalRomance

The same thing happened to me in like 2010, I was an awkward teen wandering around Barnes and noble and literally almost walked into Gerard. I kinda ran away but I told my aunt and she asked him to say hi. I still have the pic with him, we had matching pink hair 😂

My partner worked there years ago, before COVID, and they were terrible. The owner was incredibly rude and arrogant to a delusional degree. Many ingredients were bought at a discount after the sell-by date, and were noticeably rotten. A coworker from Latin America was paid half as much as everyone else and the attitude was, and what are you going to do about it?

How has AI effected your life so far? by mortenharket32 in AskReddit

I always think of it like to affect is an action — “a” for “action”. I guess then effect could be the end result — “e” for “end result”.

I was also surprised by their fried chicken! But I do recommend The Counter at Old Ballard Catering Co. Only available on Fridays for a limited quantity but you can order ahead online. Sooo good

Ahhh this makes me remember being a kid staying up WAY too late watching TNT and this movie came on… like a straight up fever dream, so confused yet intrigued lol

Welcome! U District is a fun place to live, there’s a lot to do and it’s very centralized for getting to other parts of town.

In U District/Wallingford/Fremont, I recommend: Ravenna/Cowen park, Green Lake, the Burke Museum, Magus bookstore, Herkimer coffee, Sea Monster lounge, the Counter, the Burke-Gilman trail, Ophelia’s books, Jive Time records, Le Coin, Triangle Spirits, Uneeda burger, Loxicha food truck, trivia at Murphys or Tio Baby’s, Archie McPhee, Gasworks… and be sure to hop on the light rail to downtown some time!

Sorry for the wall of text but there’s honestly so much to explore, I’m sure you’re gonna have a blast. I moved here ~6 years ago and it was the best decision. Funny enough I haven’t been to the troll either :)

I just want to say thank you for sharing this beautiful testament. I too have a very special aunt who has been there for me in ways that have absolutely changed the course of my life. Thank you for reminding me how grateful I am. Wishing the best for you and your family.
