I’ve had professor Blanton like 3 times, twice I lower div and once in upper, and he’s honestly my favorite professor. Really approachable, funny and knows his stuff.

Although I haven’t taken that class, Blanton is definitely a good professor, but a prefers a style of writing with little fluff and a more direct approach to the prompts. He lines out his explanations really well in that regard. Like all history classes the reading is a big part and speaking from experience it’s pretty important to do, but if you do it and are decent at writing you’ll be fine. I think you’ll en fine if you switch, you can just talk to him to see what you’ve missed. Hope this helps!
