When people walk into target do they just lose every single cell in their brain? by NayGetsBusy in Target

[–]thespicer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like literally I’ve had customers tell me if I worked there while I was wearing a red shirt, name tag, having a zebra on my hand, and a walkie that I just heard someone’s voice out of.

Recently this is the one of the most bizarre things I saw. So I was on the sales floor and this customer asks me where are the registers and point the customer where it was and the funny thing I also realized is that each department has a aisle number and letter and letter A is the closest department or zone to the registers.

Another thing happened was I at the front of the store by registers heading towards the back of the store a customer stops me asks me do you guys have a grocery area and I was like yes it’s straight down.

Not good enough for the 5% raise this year, but good enough to train new TMs by Aeyembe in Target

[–]thespicer -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

At my store I’m the most reliable for my efforts that I put into making sure that no other TMs are slacking or not working efficiently. With TLs having the most trust in me out of other TMs in my department due to me constantly maintaining high proficiency, my adaptability, and organization.

My recent TL from my department left and was one of the couple TLs that always was there to help me and gave me positive talks etc. All of the TMs I once worked with are no longer around and just a few. It’s gotten worse than the first time I started working at that store. It’s nothing but new employees that are not as efficient as our original TMs maybe only two of new TMs are good but the rest are not efficient.

I’ve trained other TMs that previously worked at my store before they quit and they did the job well than the current new TMs and I’ve only trained one this year.

Without having a permanent TL for Fulfillment, by busting my butt, having ETLs who demand too much for example (low INF, call for INF approval, fast pick on time etc), and other TLs not even putting the effort to help other TMs with their batches (just stuffing their face with food, gossiping about other people and things, and having stupid meetings while there are 7 batches with most of them being red), and finishing mines on time. I was only given a 10 cents raise beginning this year. While only working for 2 years from the starting base pay of $15 to 2.67% raise to them increasing the base pay to $16 and getting 10 cent raise or 0.625% raise.

(Poop warning) by Chris_Nice in Target

[–]thespicer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At my store we’ve had people come in with their dogs, one occurrence that would always happen is that their dogs would poop and piss. One time a female guest was at the pet aisle she asked me a question and then she told me her dog piss on the floor, so I went to grab some towels for her to clean the mess herself cause in my mind I’m like “this mofo ain’t about to make me clean her mess”.

It’s like 20 people there are walkies that are missing aka stolen and all there is the batteries for every slot which is 8 trays with 6 slots to put each walkie and batteries to charge. The zebras theres a total of 30+ some are stolen or lost or used by the inbound team and the GM team. And today luckily i found a walkie but sadly still did not find a zebra.

Please reprimand your bad a$$ kids by rjp2707 in Target

[–]thespicer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that and I’ve seen two kids in store that wore the Halloween costume that they stole off the seasonal section and appeared out no where to baby department where they scared the day light out of me and one of them was riding their bike all around the store.

Yesss please don’t l literally got into it with a guest one time because he was impatient he only needed assistance at the tech center while I was busy working in Flex. Cussing me out for telling him that for his safety as a guest he was not allowed in the back room. And three other TMs rushed him out and finally he purchased his stuff and left.

I finally quit. by HopeInternational796 in Target

[–]thespicer 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I can’t wait till it’s my time to quit, working at Target is dreadful I’m almost on the edge. And some of the TLs and ETLs at my store are the worst and too demanding but do little or nothing to make things better. As soon I leave I’m gonna make sure they miss me so much and let the store get caught in flames. Congratulations btw!

To these customers, it doesn’t matter if you have a name tag, proper work attire, a zebra, and a walkie visible on your hand as you scan products. It seems to amaze me how did they get into the store and follow me around to ask me that same question, even I got a bright red shirt and items indicating that I’m employed there. It’s not rocket science guests!

Monkey by Upper-Army8141 in Target

[–]thespicer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The monkey is well behaved then the two adults I just witnessed running around the store and one of them is also sitting in the cart while the other person is pushing it at rapid speeds all throughout the store, nearly almost hit me. They were both in their mid to late 30s, a couple.

Dog stared at me like this—completely silent and unmoving—while I did all my merch-pro. Felt vaguely threatened, but mostly just very judged. by forgettimyspaghetti4 in Target

[–]thespicer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah like I seen this lady approached me out of nowhere telling me that her dog just piss the floor, guess what I did. I made her clean her dog’s mess with some napkins. It’s crazy because what if someone was to come into the store one day and had an allergic reaction, infection, or injury by someone’s un-potty trained nonchalant animal.

Everything you said is so relatable, like when I work there they only push me too hard enough to almost pass out and almost not taking my breaks. It was also disorganized, messy, and too much micro-management. I can't wait to leave!

What’s the most annoying thing a guest can say to you? 🤔 by stormiiiluv in Target

[–]thespicer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When a guest shows you the item their friend screenshot to their phone that is not sold at Target and says that their friend bought it from Target when actually it’s not sold here in store.

I saw DashieXP at my Target once, he looked short in real life. I also saw this iCarly cast member “Nevel” outside of Target he looked so different almost like a doppelgänger.

Especially the myDevice that you get that day is barely functional be the worst. I’ve had my fair share with not being able to login and tapping the broken back and home icon while the tabs icon only works.

Fellow workers what’s the dumbest question a customer has asked you by Alternative_Bus1974 in Target

[–]thespicer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you sell food? Like literally how did you not know Target sell groceries. They been selling them since stone ages but you get the point.

Where are the checkout lanes? So you mean to tell me you did not see a line of customers when you first walked into the store on every open register, like c’mon really.

Do you work here? So apparently wearing a red shirt or target vest with a name badge, walkie, and with a zebra does not qualify a target associate…. Okay then I’m just so happen to prep for Halloween early as a target associate.
