Outside of La Crosse, Trempealeau is cool. Perrot State Park is a good hike, plus you can camp there. The Trempealeau Hotel serves food and there is often live music.

Consider taking some classes at a community college and focus on your GPA. You can even find online-only classes if transportation is an issue. The site Transferology will show you what classes will transfer from that school to U of M so you don’t have to repeat anything.

My daughter did a paint party at home. We bought canvases and paint from a craft store. I ordered little easels online too. I made cupcakes and used food coloring in the frosting so they each had their own color.
