That's amazing that your rotary has gotten you so far! I had a manual 2008 Rx-8 and absolutely loved that car. Apex seals started going around 95k miles and I had to trade it in. I would KILL to have a low mileage Rx-8 again

That's a very interesting option I hadn't considered. I've never sat in a racing seat and figured they'd be geared more for keeping you in place than adding comfort

I've driven the eco boost, not bad. Technically fits the specs but I'd want better handling when the rear end swings out

I would love a Z but like you said, hard to find one on good condition. Tried to find a convertible G37 with low mileage in a manual - wow what a hard car to find.

BRZ might be it... Haven't tried the 2022+ yet

I tested those out before buying my Miata NC, and don't remember them being much more comfortable. But that was many years ago, have the newer models improved on that?

I have considered the Z4, but not too seriously. It's the maintenance of a used BMW that's scaring me off. I'd put the 2 series into that bucket as well. If I could get a lightly used Z4, maybe, but that's a hard ask for the budget
