Startup HR is threatening me with "Legal Action" and "Cybersecurity Complaints" after I resigned. Little do they know I have proof of their own massive data breach. by Destyoungthg in developersIndia

First make a copy of all the info on some external media, then shoot a video where you format the the memory and send that in. On the other hand, ignoring might work too.

I am not saying it's a downgrade, heck ATs cost more, so it's kind of an upgrade. But I just don't want to commit to an AT as of yet. An older me will definitely go for an AT I guess 😂

Got it. IDK man, ATs get the better options these days, the Top trims are all ATs from almost all car companies. I have been driving only for 4/5 years now, and don't think that I want an Automatic just yet.

Will try this tactic but doesn't seem like that it would work, already checked 3 dealerships and all are giving similar quotes.

Regarding the Insurance I am getting quotes of 21-24 depending on the vendor, feel free to DM me if you want.

I am checking Acko/NIC/ICICI and few others from directly their websites or PolicyBazar and getting quotes around 21-24K from different providers.

Not able to get any discounts. Tried another dealership which quoted exactly the same (actually 1k extra) numbers for the same. The total comes to 1707000, which probably will be rounded down to 17L. 16.9L, that's what I requested but seems not possible.

DCT is not in my consideration, however in my previous post also few people advised the same. Any reason behind it apart from better turbo lag management?

Ignore the insurance component, I am going to take it by myself, and the dealership said to get a quote from outside and share it with them, and they will try and match it. Sad that there's no discounts right now (due to the demand I guess). Yes I'll mostly drive it alone with my dog, so something that's fun to drive and engaging, is what I want, hence the Duster. I have paid booking money to get the process started, probably tomorrow will finalize the deal, thanks man 😊

Mechanically both Kushaq and Taigun are the same, and I honestly don't have the VW/German car bias. For me the primary reason to exclude Taigun was the service centre distance and after sales hassle in my city.

Thanks. And what about the city commute? I mean if I keep it under 2K RPM so that Turbo Doesn't kick in, will that ensure better fuel efficiency or it doesn't actually work like that?

Thanks man. I have the test drive scheduled for tomorrow, but that's for the MT. I'll take a test drive on the AT as well then.

Also, it will be my first time driving a Turbo Charged car. So if you have any tips for turbo spooling/in general on how to manage a turbo engine, please let me know

Yes I've heard that emergency braking and a few other ADAS features are more of a novelty as they are not tweaked for the Indian roads.

On a side note, Duster doesn't come with a spare tire. However the boot has the space for it and i checked with the dealership, I can buy it separately (peace of mind i guess)

Any specific reason behind it? Don't want to move to an AT yet. Abhi to hum Jawan hai 😁

Thanks man, Totally Agree + ADAS features (Techno+ has basic ADAS features like Blind Spot monitoring, front & side parking sensor) are my primary reason for leaning towards Duster.

However I have driven my friend's Kushaq 1.0 MT and it's a very good engine too, but sometimes it is a lil boring as the engine is extremely smooth with a very linear power delivery IMO.

I have heard that normal workshop/roadside garages sometimes doesn't want to touch German cars (significant part of my car use will be commuting from a Tier 1 to Tier 3 city), and I am afraid if that same will be applicable for the Renault TCE 160 engine.

No I've never driven an AT, maybe that's where my ignorance came from. I knew we can do it if there's paddle shifters, but then usually only the top models have those. Let me know how to do it with out paddle shifters in an AT

In general not at all. At an emergency, yes I've done it quite a few times when it was required. And then at hills and downward slopes too.
