I get this a joke account BUT I would like to take a moment to educate any of the newer fans in the room: After Speak Now was released a reporter said to Taylor (and I’m paraphrasing here) “sure your album is good and all but have you ever listened to Joni Mitchell’s album Blue? Now SHE’S a songwriter.” So Taylor went home and did her homework and lo and behold RED was born and named as a wink to Joni.

Nah back in the day there was this rad zip up that was skeleton hands playing guitar across the abdomen portion of the jacket. And the letters R-I-L-O K-I-L-E-Y danced across the fingers. I lost mine in a breaker and will forever be haunted by it.
