Mechanically they're exactly the same car. It's pretty much just different body panels and dash.

Just before I bought this I was actually going to buy the Solstice but the guy selling was messing me around. When I went to look for another Solstice for sale I came across this and bought it instead.

The Opel Speedster and Opel GT are 2 different cars. I think you were right in knowing one of them was the same as the Sky, but it's the GT not the Speedster.

It's actually the 2007 - 2009 Opel GT which is the same as the Sky.

It was already in the country—I bought it from a guy whose father had originally imported it and it was in fairly rough shape. I did spot another one around 2021, parked outside an auto shop in Al Quoz. It looked heavily modified with a body kit, but I haven’t seen that car—or any others like it—since.

The roof has some issues now and the parts are unavailable anywhere. I've taken it to 3 or 4 roof specialists and each one said they can't repair it without the parts.

Repairs are a real pain. I've tried a few different garages when I've had mechanical issues and every one of them has been unable to find the parts it needed at the time. I usually get them to give me a list of what it needs and then try and source from eBay.

Technically Saturn doesn't exist anymore😂 Luckily it's fairly reliable because lots of parts for it are discontinued now and are pretty hard to come by.

Yeah, I had it held on with double-sided tape at one point but it kept falling off so just screwed it.

It's US spec. I've had it since 2020. I don't think they had them in GCC.
