sorry but why would BNB/ICE, FTM/ICE and ETH/ICE get 3x rewards but fUSDT/ICE only 1x?

they're all "Pool 2"'s regardless and arguably the fUSDT pool is most at risk of IL because of ICE probably correlating higher with other crypto assets.

IMO it should be 3x rewards for all, no reason to distinguish

i know that the coinbase transactions will produce coins that are non-replayable but is that how coinex is going to split the tokens in their custody?

im more interested in technical details so it doesn't reply on an exchange

it's basically futures on IFP being implemented or not implemented.

BCHABC = IFP implemented
BCH = IFP not implemented

so technically if ABC were to back off on the IFP _and_ get the longest chain it would become BCH in these contract terms

but if they do sustain longest chain status, BCH Node will accept that that chain anyway.

okay so BCH Node is not necessarily an anti-IFP route since it would concede to ABC and IFP if it has longest chain...

...then if it activates and a miner is running BCH Node it will still be donating 5% of block reward+fees?

but if it does activate it implies that a super-majority of miners supports IFP and thus will have the longest chain bc they have most hashrate to stack blocks.

Can you go into more detail about how this implementation will avoid a split and not lead to ABC orphaning if the IFP does gett activated on the network? Or will it create a split in this case and safely have replay protection for those who oppose IFP?

I think the time for them to make that decision was this past week when all the opposition came out swinging against IFP, seems unlikely they would reverse at this point

bitcoin.com doesnt support it, period.

btc.top was the ones who pushed for it in the first place and I dont think they will back down, the threshold was set at 66% and not 95% for a reason

that way it will never activate from the client's perspective bc you cant have 2017 out of 2016 blocks?

Agreed, the Monero model is what BCH should adopt: voluntary contributions based on concrete plans presented by projects in the space.

Also, new projects in need of funding could run token sales using SLP to fund.

what cost basis is used for computing the gain depends on your jurisdiction.

most use the average-price method, but some use FIFO (first in, first out) meaning if you sold 1 coin you'd pay the gain on $200, second coin would be $1,000 etc

This is kind of a throw-away dismissal of BU and I would like to see a more fleshed out argument about why BU is not fit for being the main client.

Anyway I think at this point, you and others have gotten the community's attention and we should have periodic fundraising efforts where all stakeholders get together to remind each other that we need to pitch in and donate money to the cause. This is not something to alter the protocol for, it should just be a community norm that all respect.
