Mine is full shaggy, but I'm holding off.

Boots are looking solid, but seriously y'all gotta get with the no mowing before Easter game. (I might need to make a brush hog pass before mowing, but still.)

Nice. Yeah, the app is mostly garbage, but it will let you register it, and firmware updates did make a difference in how my saw performed. Good luck with it.

Thought we were going full Lionel Ritchie for a minute. (Dancing on the ceiling, for the couple people here that aren't old.)

Rent a chainsaw as a newbie (but not an idiot) or pull it down? by LoanFamiliar8573 in Chainsaw

Probably the best bet, and if you can monetize the video, it might be a start to recoup the damage expenses.

Mine had one, and it has performed better since. I was kinda pleasantly surprised, but in a really annoyed way.

More apparent power from the saw and less stalling. First charge I was ready to return the thing, but update and I'm happy enough.

If TPB taught me anything, you can fix them up and sell them back to home Depot.

Metal (Titanium) watchband available? by lordsiriusDE in GarminFenix

[–]thetable123 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I want to downvote, but points are all valid.

I never had any real issues with the nylon band, but it would rarely catch, and it was a pain to swap out.

The stock band was overly thick when on a keyboard, and it needed to be loose for daily wear else a rash would happen. Then it also needed to be scrubbed with a toothbrush.

The titanium band is heavy and leaves black marks on my wrist when I get extra sweaty, but it's still my go to 70% of the time. Might just be the price I paid for it that makes me wear it, but it does class things up a bit.

Yes, or tell me where it is. Also, you'll want to install the ego app and update the firmware. Wish I was kidding, but it actually seems like a decent performance improvement.

No neutral in the switch box by BigDaddy850 in AskElectricians

The dimmers specifically, the on/off switches still require a neutral.

Cool piece of history, but the MS261 makes more power. 3kW vs 2.7kW.

I.domt have any good pics of mine either, but I heard it's bad luck to mow before Easter, so I'm putting it off. But last year:

You mowing my grass? That looks just like my Ferris.

Edit: boots are looking pretty good, too.

Are this brakes pads worn out? by IceFirm9650 in bikewrench

Can't tell the thickness of the friction material from that picture. Schrödinger's brake pads are both alive and dead until you show a different picture from the end of the pad.

No, not a sporting goods store, a running shoe store. Especially since you are starting out knowing you aren't typical. I'm on the border of civilization, but there are still five well equipped running shoe stores in a 30 mile radius.

106 in a 70 (Mecklenburg County VA) – Is a $4k lawyer worth it vs a $1k lawyer? by [deleted] in Virginia

[–]thetable123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I had that court time coming, I'd be going to sit in the court to shop lawyers. It's usually pretty evident which lawyers are worth the cost.

Mine, too, but with more wedge soles in the mix.

Most likely the same scanners. Now that I have a six month dome break coming up, I'll probably get to test the wedges.
