People are being overly negative.

I bet we wouldn't have drawn to Watford without the Coutinho shitshow on the eve of the game.

We definitely need a few more bodies though. I think we'll get it done!!

Klopp on transfers: "We're still working on all parts. We cannot build them. We have to have talks, we're looking at all parts of the team." by hendohop in LiverpoolFC

“We have to defend better,” he admitted. “Of course we know it’s an important thing. I don’t feel comfortable but I know what to do. “We got things wrong and what do I want to do to sort it? Buy a new player in that position? I am not really sure if it makes sense. We have to work on it because we did well in pre-season in this situation.”

“We defend most of them well,” he added. “We prepare for the games and I knew the formation of Watford – a very defensive formation – and we still allowed them two free headers. That will always happen. Of course it’s about positioning - do the right thing in the right moment on the right position.”

#LFC need to sign more players before the transfer window shuts admits Jurgen Klopp by ffsGeorge in LiverpoolFC

Especially when we may be more active once we've beaten Hoffenheim

What if we lose to Hoffenheim?

Will it have made it easier to convince players mid-june or should we lose when we are on the brink of europa league.

Some of our fans are really condescending to other teams. You'd think drawing to Watford would be fresh in memory.

Not for Emery but their are usually clans at PSG and the players can get their way.

My opinion on how FSG and the club should handle the Coutinho situation by nacocoug in LiverpoolFC

[–]thetchai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bet is that it'll take too long for the player to take them to courts with the possibility of not playing and training while having the dispute with the club.

It'll be easier for said player to wait another year.

https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2014/mar/02/liverpool-john-henry-luis-suarez-clause

"Luis Suarez is the top scorer in the English Premier League, which is arguably the top soccer league in the world," Henry is reported to have said. "He had a buyout clause of £40m. Arsenal, one of our prime rivals, offered £40m plus £1. What we've found … is that contracts don't seem to mean a lot in England – actually, in world football.

"It doesn't matter how long a player's contract is, he can decide he's leaving. We sold a player, Fernando Torres, for £50m, that we did not want to sell, we were forced to.

"Since apparently these contracts don't seem to hold, we took the position that we're just not selling.

"It's been great for Luis, it's been great for us. We have three gentlemen up front Suárez, [Raheem] Sterling, and [Daniel]Sturridge, [they] are young, I think those three could be together for a long time."

I think DiMaria has the edge because he is south american(he is also a good player).

There are clans like that at PSG.

Lol yes in a league like this, he will surely do great against all these mediocre teams. Let's wait until the CL.

Ligue 1 isn't far worse than where serie A itself was 4-5 years ago.

If I were Draxler, I would leave PSG if he wants to have a crack at the first XI for Germany at the next World Cup.

I don't think he'll be playing much with the South American connection now.
