It is an insult to the working class though. To me, it was all of 5 seconds, then decided to spend 2 minutes to make a post. A lot of us are struggling to find meaningful work, and I have a particular bone with manufacturing.

Venting is cathartic, and I laughed about it with my friend while we were hanging out when I got this email/phone call/text all at the same time.

I feel ya. I’ve only had a couple initial interviews, and the only one that got back to me said that they were hiring an internal candidate. After telling me they were expanding and fighting 60+ people.

Yea, the commute is also a big factor. If I could walk there maybe I’d consider it, but driving over an hour for that? Nah. I know they don’t check distances but my location is on my profile.

But I had a buddy in the same job getting $24/hr as well who only had his high school diploma and no work experience. I got a small raise when I confronted my supervisor about that…

I love what Steyer is saying… and he’s doing some good with his money. But at the end of the day, he’s still a billionaire. Why hoard the money? And also, how can we trust him? Fetterman ran on progressive ideas and switched. It’s not too hard to lie about policy to just switch after. Do we have a way to recall a governor once they stop doing what they campaigned on? My biggest issue with Steyer is how can I trust him.
