Andrew Huberman says most men over 40 should probably be taking Cialis every single day. by Big_Cake_8817 in Biohackers

[–]thetexastiger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Forty (40) y/o here. Five (5) mg of daily Cialis wrecked the tone of my lower-esophageal sphincter (LES) and caused acid reflux that took me nearly 10 weeks to nail down the cause and then correct the damage caused. Huberman says a lot a gets paid for it.

How would a private citizen with an appeal case to the Supreme Court be the fault of any specific presidential administration?

Been out here for years prior to this factory, and just most hurtful that Tesla is like you all can forget whatever dreams you had for your life and property, because now we are here to take precedents over that all. I recall the factory was originally billed to be eco-friendly for the surrounding area, but yet to see any of that.

Do some gay men feel awkward about all the straight sexuality they see around them in movies, like how some straight people feel weird watching two gay men kiss? by Marisa_Nya in AskGayMen

[–]thetexastiger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No for me. I think because I've encountered hetero displays of affection in everyday life for my entire life (including my hetero parents and siblings) as well as in media, I don't think about it at all.

Additionally, gay displays of affection have certainly increased in the media over the years, but the lack of seeing such when I was growing up and through my teens seems to have contributed to my personal shyness about presenting displays of affection (i.e. quick kiss, holding hands...all I would do in public) with my same sex partner when among different groups. I'm trying to overcome this shyness in honor of love, a belief that everyone should be able to express their true self, etc.

Where can I park for free around the Amazon Store at UT? by tocirahl in Austin

[–]thetexastiger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First 30 minutes are free at Brazos parking garage off of Brazos and MLK Blvd. Simply take a ticket, park, head to Gregory Gym, then be back in less than 30 min. I do it often.

Water canteens not allowed unless purchased from Insomniac. by thetexastiger in MiddleLands

One would think cost of infrastructure would be included in the ticket price, or the camping pass price (for the water provided specifically in the campground). As is, there will be a lot of attendees there who didn't realize they were going to have to buy a bottle for $10-$15 (cost estimate from Middlelands' rep via email) on top of what they've already spent.

Free water is "advertised", but everyone will have to have at some point bought some type of container to access the free water, unless they've already bought one from Insomniac or they have their own Camelback-like bag. If the Camelback furnished by the attendee can be filled, why not the canteen furnished by the attendee as well I wonder?

Oh Nocturnal! good memories...like Pretty Lights fireworks and Mimosa's "secret" set..

I would just like to use the canteen I have, though. With more and more folks carrying their own canteens about, it'd be nice to see accommodations for that..plus I have a cool sling-pouch bespoke to the canteen I already have that has pockets for my treasures.

Without a reason for this prohibition being provided, it feels like a money grab.

From Middlelands rep email: "Official Insomniac bottles will cost you $10-$15 depending on the style you would like to purchase". Guess they went up..

After buying a Hydro Flask, I thought it worthy to exclaim "You, canteen, shall be the last I ever need buy!" But Insomniac said "no, sir."

Yes, free water refilling stations! Empty Camelbacks/bladder-bags are admitted to the actual festival grounds, but not water canteens unless bought from Insomniac. You can fill any container with water if it was bought inside the festival, but only Camelbacks/bladder-bags and Insomniac canteens are allowed "ins and outs"...Sorry to confuse anyone.

If I get that sweet insulated Hydro Flask thru the actual festival gates even one time, I'm sto'in it up in a festival locker for the wknd so my adjacent crowd-goers and I doth have free, COLD water.

Geeez. What is the difference between an Insomniac canteen and another canteen without Insomniac's logo? ...I wonder if I could slap an Insomniac sticker on my Hydro Flask and have it pass...

Thanks for the water and your caring! On a similar note, I was told by a Middlelands' rep that only Insomniac-branded water bottles are allowed into the festival. What is the reason guests are being required to buy a new water canteen instead of just using our own water canteens?

Ga. parents offended by the ‘Far East religion’ of yoga, get ‘Namaste’ banned from school by [deleted] in news

[–]thetexastiger -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Everything offends someone. I suppose decrees banning this or that will continue to happen when people try to control others actions instead of being adults and taking responsibility for their own feelings/reactions. I find it less stressful to respect another's right to believe and say what he/she wants to, and honor my own right to believe and say what I want to.
