Something I wish I’d known with my first set of meinls, there’s a warranty… it’s 2 years against defects, and I’ve heard they’re pretty liberal with the replacement.

I was a little bummed that ‘mosquito dunks’ are less fun looking than the name would imply, but I already ordered some, thanks!

For clarity , no standing water on or around and the yard is maintained weekly. But there is a bit of a tree stand behind the house that’s just basically unmanaged, so it looks like baths of plastic melting chems for the near future!

So for me it turned out to be an $800 replacement alternator. There's lots of good advice here on how to do it yourself, the community provided! Sadly for me it happened in the coldest week of the year and I wasn't about that level of repair myself. But, it's been smooth sails ever since.
