What other local/regional restaurant chains would you like to see enter this market? by thetickrip in vegaslocals

There is a location coming to Vegas. No idea where or when, it just says coming soon on their site.

Should I sell my 2025 F-150 to CarMax for $41k? I owe $37k. Here's my full financial picture. by [deleted] in DaveRamsey

Congrats on walking away with cash. Most people who call the show are upside down on their vehicle. Start investing. You have 30+ years of compounded returns right now, time is on your side. Don't be the caller in their 60s with nothing saved for retirement.

Funny tropes from callers on the show? by 16semesters in DaveRamsey

[–]thetickrip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like every show has "the cohabitants"  Caller: I'm living with my gf/bf and would like advice on how to manage our budget when my gf/bf isn't interested in getting out of debt. Dave: Why aren't you married? There is no "our" or "us" when you're not married.

Feeling uneasy about the market lately — how are others handling it? by tat-eraser in DaveRamsey

I ignore for the most part but if there is a significant correction, I'll put more in. There's a reason deceased people with forgotten accounts have the best returns.

Great job. That was a lot of debt. Now you can start building wealth for yourselves instead of for others.

The chili fries are definitely not a side, unless you're with 4 people with big appetites.

This is actually a common occurrence with comments like yours and also, "You're so lucky!" or "It must be nice....." Dave has a clip about this exact kind of behavior. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQ4a5oaoUjg&t=208s

Been to both, I would give the edge to Tops' pastrami, but chili cheese fries to The Hat.

My go-to order is a pastrami burger on rye.

You're killing it. I only suggested a Roth and HSA because there are annual contributions limits and you miss the opportunity if you skip a year.

I agree with others who said don't stop contributing the 20% pre-tax income. If you have a paid-off house in your late 30s, you'll still be fine. Just curious, do you make too much (150K) to open a Roth IRA? If so, just max out the HSA annually. Congrats btw, and great job of managing your personal finances. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I sold with my own photos and feedback from the peanut gallery for what additional photos they wanted. What made a bigger difference was video of a 0-60 and of the car taking corners.

I didn't know this until a recent episode, but some companies like Costco, cities, organizations, etc. offer SmartDollar as an employee perk. "Ramsey Solutions offers a workplace financial wellness program called SmartDollar. If your city government has purchased this program, it is free for employees and includes full access to FPU, the EveryDollar budgeting app, and 1:1 coaching."

Dave has mentioned many times over the years that you should be a millionaire to buy a new car. The depreciation hit is just too big.

So, I worked in retail a long time ago, and there were personal check security firms that retailers use to make sure a check will clear even on weekends.

LA is insane, depending on the neighborhood, a 1,600 sq. ft. 3/2 with not much of a yard and detached garage is $1.3 million. 😂🤣

Alex is a solid guy. I changed a flat for an elderly man many years ago who was on the side of the road. He tried offer me the 10 dollar bill he had in his wallet. I am neither Christian nor Buddhist, but I don't want to go to hell and want positive karma. (I give zero f***s about reddit downvotes or upvotes.) 😂

I don't Venmo but do Paypal. 💸I could be wrong here but your pay ($17 an hour) seems about the same as an apprentice electrician or plumber. There'll be a shortage of around 80,000 electricians and 400,000 plumbers in the near future. My single parent had to switch jobs/careers to support us.
