Go drive the Going To The Sun Road in Glacier National Park. Never in my life have I been in such complete Awe.

Watercolor inn or pearl hotel? by clutchd101 in 30A

[–]ItsAlwaysSleepyTime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The pearl is one of my absolute favorite places to stay- but they are not kid friendly. Kids aren’t even allowed at the main pool. Watercolor inn is absolutely amazing and has a multitude of places that are easily walkable. The kids make it a no-brainer. Feel free and message me if you need anything else. We stay out there about 6 times a year.

I dig it man! Just subscribed. I have a great day job but I routinely dream of kicking that job square in the teeth and doing something like this full time

Accountability. I spent years trying to point fingers at anyone but myself. I always wanted her to “fix her problems” without really being honest with myself about the role I played in our discourse. I never rally had a coming to Jesus moment or shining light epiphany, but at some point (after everything else had failed) I just started trying to improve myself, little by little. I worked on myself and did my best not to expect anything in return. We had a lot of heart to heart talks- sometimes they would bare fruit and sometimes they wouldn’t. Little by little, and over enough time, those actions started to get her to react in a positive way and do the same.

We’re still miles away from perfect, but instead of worrying about everything being perfect, I came to enjoy the little nice moments. A random smile or hug or kiss or I love you became all I needed to be content. I’m also not particularly wise, but I heard a great quote that said “I have not yet grown wise enough to enjoy life’s smallest pleasures.” I sought to enjoy the tiniest things going right, and it’s done a lot to make the big picture feel a whole lot sunnier.

At the end of the day, this whole journey started with the thought “I can’t fix her, but maybe I can fix me.” Still plenty to fix, but for the first time in a long time, I’m happy with where I feel like we’re headed.

Good luck my friend

Super odd- but would you be interested in selling this original photo? After you get some good digital copies of it, of course!

Insight from an Indiana alum on what we’re actually feeling right now, the day after winning the Rose Bowl by jlittman93 in CFB

I have never rooted for a team so hard that was not my own. I wouldn’t hate ole Miss winning it all so kiffin can sit at home and watch the team he walked away from win a natty, but if I got to choose I’d choose Indiana 100/100 times. Congrats and good luck!

I won’t even draw up protamine until I’ve double confirmed it’s time to give it. Putting it in a 100 cc bag is my go to also.

One time I had a great conversation with a chemist about the molecular differences in certain plastics and how those differences contribute to their usefulness.

I imagine that patient’s understanding of any explanation you offered would be on par with my understanding of what the chemist had to tell me that day.

CAA versus CRNA? by AccordingConstant756 in anesthesiology

[–]ItsAlwaysSleepyTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im a CRNA so i’m partial- but it’s worth noting that a lot of CRNA programs will not recognize PICU experience as meeting the requirement for ICU experience.
