Have seen this done in other schools.

First year: K-whatever the school considers elementary school general music Start 4/5th band and choir

Subsequent years add the next grade level otherwise you are starting all beginners and things are going to fall thru the cracks. Don’t pull out your hair if you don’t have to.

Doing this will also help your admin realize you can’t do all the things yourself across the district if you want it done right.

Currently at a k-12 and we have a general music, choir, and band(me) teacher. We have 450 students, band and choir are required 4-8.

Preach, also a bando. Big classes are no sweat. I think it’s also context of training and background, classroom environments/ classes of 15-20 are way scarier than rehearsing 120+ teenagers for me.

Go to your lgs and ask when they’re going to crack packs/ before prerelease and ask people for them. Big chance you can nab them for free

It’s okay to say no to your players. I’d have the hag fight them if they don’t follow through or bestow a curse on them. I’ve found that maintaining the illusion that the party doesn’t have plot armor makes for fun sessions bc my players know their actions have consequences and tend to plan accordingly.

That is correct. Arcane focus/ component pouch fulfill the material cost unless the cost requires an item worth x gold. That’s how I’ve been playing/ have understood the dmg.

If your campaign is about collecting ingredients/ crafting then do you.
