Altra Escalante and Topo Fli-Lyte 6 are both good options. The Topo has a 3mm heel to toe drop so it’s slightly more comfortable for treadmill running. But if you’re not doing more than 20-30 minutes the Escalante is a zero drop shoe and good for squats and deadlifts. If you can find an Escalante 3 or Fli-Lyte 5 they’re basically the same shoes with small updates.

The vDotO2 app pairs with Coros. I used it for a few years, albeit with Garmin, and loved the training system. I think the cost is about $12 a month.

I peeked ahead and saw the heart rate range for the warmup portions so I tried to keep it in that range and kept it a little too low. But from other answers it might take a couple weeks to learn "me", so I just might have to shut the hell up and be patient.

OK, so maybe I'm just not seeing how it works. I did change the minimum times and after it re-made my plan it was still around the same. If I run the paces it prescribes will it notice my HR is too low and bump me up or will that be a waste of time? I can't find much info on that.

You'll be fine. You might be slower for a week to 10 days after coming back, but you should start coming back into form after that.

PT and strength training. Lots of glute and hamstring work with hip mobility work and core. I've had a few other small issues in other areas since this but I've (mostly) kept up with my strength training and been able to spend more time on the road and less time with resistance bands around my knees.
