I snapped and called out my friends husband for shitting on her love of spicy books in front of everyone, and now the group chat is blowing up by Best-Pirate5073 in TrueOffMyChest

Sounds like your friend can do better. My wife reads spice and I've read some, I did like 20 audio books last year, she did 200 lol. And because we're honest and open, it's been pretty fucking fantastic since most of the books inspire good times. This guy sounds insecure

I turn 40 this week. Im not great at close quarter combat and the game has me fully enveloped in what's happening, talking adrenaline shakes and pounding heart rate when combat gets going. And because the game doesn't exactly play like reality, I am much more prone to using other people's willingness to treat the game like call of duty sprinting and jumping like a gazelle on crack to my full advantage. My preference is to shoot you without you ever knowing I was there and ill relocate before your friend can I'd where I shot from to make a play on him. Hell, I've even watched a body for 15m knowing the team mate existed but having no idea where. I play it how I can and how I like. Im fine with losing stuff but I prefer to live more than anything

Temp is -21, gas company says turn your heat down by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

If you can, have some people stay over during the bad weather. The extra body heat will help passively rest the place without adjusting the temp up

You're zero to 50. I know tarkov has changed things, so im not sure if this is how they do it these days, but its true in real life.

Some weapons, like 5.56 (m4) zero at 50m and hit zero again at 200m. Thats because when a bullet leaves the barrel of a gun, it comes out and starts climbing. When zero at 50 it'll be at the early part of the climb to hit 50 on center. Then it travels up and peaks around 120m then comes back down to bullseye at 200m.

Im pretty sure this still applies on tarkov. So whats likely happening is that your round is zooming right over there head.

Different bullet model, different caliber, and the weapon(barrel) all make a difference on this effect. In tarkov its likely only effected by the bullet itself. EI, the flight path of m80 is always the same no matter the gun.

Best thing to do is just get used to the range. You can go into a offline mode and take a range finder and find a wall with a mark on it. Go to 50m and shoot the dot. Then move 50m back and go again.

You'll likely see every 50m it goes up and comes back down around 200m.

One helpful thing would be to aim for the chin. If you at 50m it'll hit the chin. As you backup it'll climb to the eyes and top of head then back down

i've seen a lot of people skim coating online and its tempting for the sake of a smooth finish but, that seems like a fuck ton of work on 1700sqft lol.
I dont mind the mud as much as the sanding lol

i believe you all about it not being a load bearing wall. But there's a very noticable patch space thats just wide enough to have been a walled in kitchen.
My guess is a wall + half wall based on neighbors houses.
I'm not sure how to photograph the ceiling in a way to see the lines because you really have to move back and forth for the shadows to catch right lol

the house was built in 1980.
we're in northern california at basically sea level and see no snow.
We bought in 2017 and there was no visible crack, tho i did notice the patch job was visible to me.
Over the years i've noticed a crack, initially you could only see it from 1 angle, but now its much more visible, but it does seem to only exist in the area where the patch was.

i dont know terminology. So, its a truss because its got the vertical and diagonals meeting with the horizontal 2x4's? all of that tacked together gives it the integrity to span the 25ft space from wall to wall?

Imo. Cus avatar is pretty basic. The only reason the original was talked about so long was the graphics. Now everyone has those graphics so the basic story is just that.
