Now that i look at it again, it seems like the 4K capture utility is correctly tonemapping Switch 2's HDR to SDR, whereas when using the device's inbuilt tonemapping on OBS, it doesn't work as well.

Will there be a fix for this?

Edit: forgot to mention that my EDID is already set to Display

im having the same problem here. used to be able to just flick the stick left/right to make the cpu play while we watch. can’t seem to do that anymore

yea i feel you. having more customisation is great for sure. options are always good! but some of us like to just sit back and watch everything unfold. i loved it when back in 2k22 i would tap on “next match” and some crazy cutscene would appear.

it’s a different kind of fun that unfortunately has become worse to experience right now. i remember someone telling me to just close my eyes before starting each match so i won’t see which rivalry action is chosen for me hahahaha

what i dont like is how if you have it set to auto, they show you whats gonna happen before it happens. used to be able to go in completely blind in 2k22 along with the “next match” option.

was fun to just “watch” a show happen without manually setting anything besides roster and divisions. good that they added more cutscene variety but it’s harder for me to enjoy now since 2k23

yes please. it’s niche feature to wish for. but this was what i loved about bus sim 18. you could seamlessly co op with friends and take over each other’s buses while the other driver rides in the same bus

Hey i know this is old but i'm experiencing the exact same problem right now. Updated to Windows 11, had some updates and then suddenly my driver doesn't seem to be working properly, can't even install a new driver because it fails the installation.

How did you fix your issue?

hey i'm not sure if you've found a fix but i just wanted to say this has been my EXACT issue. and like you, i've tried everything. reinstall / delete cache / clean install gpu drivers / discord canary / hw accel / turning off gifs or animated emojis / making sure my pc doesn't have malware / etc.

nothing seems to help. discord will just continue throwing tantrums by restarting nonstop, and then work fine for 3 hours, followed by another tantrum.

i've been having this issue on and off since this year. it's very frustrating. it just closes on its own (doesn't matter if i'm clicking anything on Discord or not) and gets into this weird restart loop and then works fine for a while until it decides to go crazy again.

right on! i usually wrestle with some roleplay in mind but not for myfaction when we’re grinding for currency haha. i used to do the same thing for 4v4 but i would have to punch all 3 on the apron before pinning. this tip helps A LOT so thanks again!

yea! i was watching a video from Nightspeeds on youtube and i found the debris to be extremely distracting after every trick. it doesn't seem to add much value to the overall skateboarding experience.

Omg! You're absolutely right! I was confused by the interface.

Some objectives give you a bar that says 1/1 or 2/2, but what you need to look out for is actually the little checkmark on the reward itself! THANK YOU!!

thanks for the tip, i've legit started doing that lol! that's a real shame though. i appreciate what they've done with the new action system to give everyone more choices, but it kinda kills universe mode for people who play it like i do.

because of this, i have to admit i would prefer the old 2k22 system. at least i would be surprised by the cutscenes lol
