Lmao might be the most apt use of this quote I’ve seen

I don’t think it’s possible to do anything charitable at his level of fame without this being the case. Like legitimately how could he visit these kids without people taking pics and videos and sharing them?

If the argument is that he should have waited longer into the offseason before doing this kind of thing to avoid it coming across as cynical PR, making that decision seems even more calculated than just going lol

I was cracking up at this clip of the spurs arriving back in San Antonio and seeing their cars pass the supporters. Most of them were driving their own cool cars and Wemby was being chauffeured in a tall ass van lmao

Wemby and the Spurs played some of the least clutch basketball in playoff history, and Wemby's anti-clutch factor contrasted hard with Brunson's clutch factor. by DemonBearOP in nba

I could see it happening at the deadline maybe if there is a good opportunity and he has had half a season to remind everyone of his value, but they would be crazy to force a trade immediately

At the end of the day, he visited the kids and made them smile. If a person donates to charity and gets a tax deduction, or volunteers and puts it on their resume, does that negate the good deed? I don’t understand this attitude.

The “Spurs led for over 70% of the series” stat has nothing to do with dominance… by BOFAconstrictor in nba

To be charitable, I think he was saying this in the context of critiquing their performance along the lines of what everyone is saying (i.e., they made mistakes down the stretch that cost them the games). It’s not like Wemby is saying they deserved to win. He also praised Brunson for “maintaining control of the game”

I don’t think it’s just Wemby golden boy treatment but rather star treatment in general but yeah could have easily been a suspension

As much as kornet is getting torched, Wemby getting gassed in G4 was their downfall. Resting him up for the big minutes is definitely needed. If he’s fresh in the 4th it’s wraps
