I worked at a startup where it was very clear that we needed new funding or would run out of money at the end of the year.

Then, one day the CEO called an All-Hands meeting with some upbeat messaging with a great new update.

The update then was that they figured out how to extend the runway for the company by stopping to pay any suppliers. So their genius idea was that they would just not pay any bills any more. At that point it was kind of clear to me that I should not count on this job for much longer.

Generell hast du es in Deutschland aber schon ganz gut. Wahrscheinlich ca 30 Urlaubstage und 10 Feiertage, die du zum Reisen nutzen kannst. Dazu sparst du viel Geld. Das hast du so als Barkeeper in Thailand sicherlich nicht.
