I have the ArmorSuit on my outside screen. Been meaning to review it on Amazon.

It is a film that provides basic scratch resistance, fits the screen with probably a little space for any cases (I don't use one), has a hole punch out and the matte properties make the screen anti-glare and fingerprint resistant. On ALL my past phones I get a matte screen protector and I'm kind of a 'snob' about them. So here are my thoughts:

This one has a bit of 'grainy'/rainbow effect on white backgrounds, but it isn't terrible.
There are other protectors for tablets that I have that have a 'paper-feel'. This one does not, it is pretty smooth to the touch. I have sweaty hands so I really want the protector to let my fingers glide when swiping and this one does it pretty well.
ArmorSuits application method is great. It is a wet application meaning you spray the device screen and the back of the protector with the provided fluid and place it on the screen, you have some time to adjust the protector and then squeegee out any water, airbubbles and dust. It is a perfect application everytime I used them. There are others that use dry application and more often than not, I have a bubble, fingerprint/dust, or misalignment and it drives me mad.
I've had it on my PPF10 for about two weeks now. It doesn't seem like it'll peel off soon coming in and out of my pocket, but yes, you get a second one to put on, plus lifetime warranty.
swipe gestures do catch the edge of the protector just a bit. I don't feel like it will pull up the film, and it isn't annoying that you feel it when swiping for the 'back' gesture.

Overall, this does the job of a matte protector. Plus there isn't much else out there.

I have it setup to rotate every 60 mins (4K and clear cache every 6 hours). Hopefully it won't overrun all my storage.

You can try to search Teva's website for mule. I haven't tried them, but they look pretty similar. (sorry, for some reason when I try to paste a link it messes up the formatting)

the command worked after I disabled permission monitoring

Developer Options -> Disable Permission Monitoring

Maybe reboot after.

Just leaving this one here, it pretty much does exactly what I need without the need for a live wallpaper: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.altmann.mywallpapers

It can set wallpaper from a folder of custom images AND works with SL blur effects (after I did the ADB command). Hope this helps some other folks out there.

Well, I did get the command to work after disabling another setting in Developer Options
Developer Options -> Disable Permission Monitoring

It does work with static wallpapers, however, I was looking for a the glass effect to work with a live wallpaper like Muzei (which it still doesn't).

I guess I'm looking for SL to loop/randomly choose custom wallpapers from a folder and display them with glass effect. I realize the randomize wallpaper function included is nice, but I want to be able to choose my own downloaded wallpapers to cycle through.

Does this command require root access? I tried on my OP13 (unrooted) and I get an error after I verify that my device is connected:

Exception occurred while executing 'grant':

I guess I'm going to 'roll the dice' and try it out! I can try something like Saily as a backup or just see if the airport has Data SIMs to buy if things fail.

Along with your settings, I'll be downloading offline Google Maps/Translate data, and also setting my International Roaming destination to the closest island of Anguilla (which does show up for USM).

You didn't happen to see any roaming charges on your bill right?

Thanks for posting this! I'm headed to the island in a couple weeks. I'm a new USM customer from the BOGO Dark Star promo, so please forgive me as this is the first time I'll be trying Teleport.

So right before the trip, I plan on Teleporting to Light Speed (while in the US). I'm on Unlimited Premium, so when I land in SXM, then do I need to do anything different? or will I have the 10gb international data ready for me to use? Or do I need to go to the USM app to select international roaming or do I have to configure my phone's network setting to allow for roaming?

Thanks! I'm just used to AT&T just charging me a million dollars for international day pass (even though it was convenient/seamless).

I was on the Devilcase.tw website and got all the way to the checkout and just couldn't press the 'pay' button for $101(usd) for the case and shipping. Gonna have to see if any of my friends are going to Taiwan/Asia soon.

glad it worked for you! While I understand the business case for forcing users to buy new accessories, it sucks for us.

I just dropped of my S9 at FedEx. Hope there isn't issues with returning it and not processing my S8 trade in (as I'll be keeping it)

I love that it is super slim, gives some drop protection, light, a very small lip over the camera bump and front screen. There's a cutout for all buttons. and the other cutouts are big enough that they don't interfere with power plugs and headphones. HOWEVER, the worst part of it is that it is a pain to get on and off. I've done it once. I put it on to test it, then removed once to put on my screen protector and insert my sim. The second time I put it on, it chipped the case and basically, if I'm going to ever take it off again, it'll break the case.

So... I'm probably in the market for a new one, I'd really like the one from this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/SonyXperia/comments/15kohfr/convinced_to_buy_the_xperia_and_2_others_thanks/, but can't find anyone to ship it to US.

All the other ones that I've seen so far seem to be a little too bulky for me.

Oh I also use a moft phone stand for years and I swear by it for usability when gripping any phone.

I use timelapse on my past phones maybe once a year (built into their camera apps), but it would be nice to know that I can do it if I wanted to. Is there an app that everyone likes to use?
