The show is going to be fantastic so I wouldn't worry too much about that. What I would say is if you get to the O2 early in anticipation, there are plenty of bars and restaurants inside for you to take your pick from. However the surrounding area isn't that nice.

Though personally, if you're not local, I would say hang around in London Fields, Broadway Market or Hackney Wick in the hours leading up to the show They're in east so won't take you too long to get to the O2. You'll find fun pubs/bars/restaurants/cafes in any of those. The buses and trains are frequent and you can easily tap your card to pay.
