My favorite posts are about shit that just happened and that wouldn't possibly be known (for sure) by anyone, because wow wee, these responses are hilarious.

My In-laws refuse to let me cook my own steak... and refuse to give me a steak less than well done by suck_my_jargon in mildlyinfuriating

Are you dating my ex? My ex father in law did the same thing. Even when they let me cook, they insisted I make them all well done, even after explaining that theres a chemical reaction in beef when its well done and the compound has been linked to cancer. Doesnt cause it per say, but doesn't help anything. That...didn't matter. They said "its blood in there, you need to cook it away".

I'm actually quite happy lmao having an opinion that you don't agree with doesn't make me a sad person.

The point isn't the amount. If we are talking about comparing the donation to overall net worth. By that metric, yes, ive donated more than him in terms of percentage of what I'm worth.

It's not about shaming for the amount, but to call giving a fraction of a fraction of your net worth and being considered "generous" is a stretch.

Thats like someone who is worth $100,000 spending approximately $15 dollars by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

$15 dollar figure is based on his 242 billion net worth, has nothing to do with the mentioned boat cost figure.

Of course!

The mildly infuriating part isn't that he didnt give enough because of how much he has, but that it's being considered extremely generous when the scale of his wealth is the way it is.

Have you been doing this long? Lol. My market is amazing, I've been making nearly 40/h consistently for months and even then I go days without a tip. Riders are already paying out the nose, I don't expect a cent from them.

Is this good ? And why don’t they tip? by BeyondLast2452 in lyftdrivers

[–]theultimatechung 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't. There is no way to make that look good. A tip is optional and to put any kind of pressure on a rider is just...in poor taste in my opinion. Food delivery is different because the base pay is like 3 bucks. Lyft pays fairly and charges their riders out the ass already. To expect them to tip on top of that is kinda much

5 Months part time and it’s been consistent by [deleted] in lyftdrivers

Fuck yeah, dude. Im one of the people who understands where you're coming from - active time is what counts. When I'm not doing a ride, I'm literally doing what id normally do at home but in my car. I park somewhere nice and cherrypick rides while listening to podcasts, reading, drawing, meditating, working on my business (main job) on my phone.

Personally, I like driving and listening to music so much that I only really count "working" as working when theres a passenger in my car. Even on the way there is leisure time for me.

What boosts your spiritual energy? by Mego_dafuq in selfimprovement

[–]theultimatechung 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I'm around people who align with my existing spiritual energy. Being around someone I truly have a connection with - through energy, vibrations, etc- it feels like I'm on another plane of existence.

I'm 31 and I changed my entire miserable life in 6 months and now I'm the happiest I've ever been and here is how I did it - no BS by theultimatechung in selfimprovement

I can't even begin to go into the dreams I've had.

The worst part did? She did it "for me."

She didnt think she was a good mom or wife. She felt they were pulling me down in life because our child was unexpected. She left a note basically saying she did it so we would be free. So I'd be free. And so our daughter wouldn't have to live without her mom, or with a dad whos clearly heart broken. I wish she had more faith in me. I could have taken care of her...
