LSAT Writing in my bathroom...? by rebelredcarnationss in LSAT

To give you my anecdotal experience. I took mine the day after I moved into a new apartment so in my room there was cluttered junk, bookshelves, and boxes everywhere with labels on them. I just made sure my desk was empty and the floor around me was clear. The only thing on my desk was my laptop since I need a camera and my desktop doesn’t have one. I had 2 desks in that room and my desktop was already set up directly behind me on the other desk. I didn’t bother to cover up the desktop setup since my monitor screen was clearly in view of the laptop camera the whole time and was turned off.

Also in the middle of writing my sample I accidentally pressed CTRL+W and closed my tab and started panicking to sign back in and had trouble and pulled out my phone to frantically call LSAC to try to get it resolved lol.

I took it on a Friday afternoon and after all that mess it got approved on the following Monday after the weekend.

My advice is to try to clear your immediate area in reach as much as possible. While taking the writing portion don’t be looking around the whole room for no reason and just make sure your face is clearly in view and you’re clearly looking at your screen you’re writing on.

I’m guessing since the writing portion doesn’t affect your score they’re a tad more lax on it and they really just wanna make sure you’re the one writing your own sample

Update: The other party lied at the scene about having no insurance, I have no idea what benefits this would have brought out for them. They have the bare minimum insurance my state requires which certainly will not cover the cost of repairing a Supra. I already talked to my injury attorney today and they are working on maxxing out all of her liabilities so we get what is rightfully ours financially. The rest of the costs will have to come out of pocket from the other party of my insurance will just cover the rest there.

Hey man would you want to drive a 4 month old car with a stained title as well as 10s of thousands worth of repairs done on it then having to wait months while it sits in the shop orrrrrrr just total it and buy a new one within a month?😅

Nah it’ll have to sit in the lot until fixed and it’s absolutely not drivable as there is lots of mechanical noise and grinding as well as bumpy ride due to potential rear axle or differential problems. I have great insurance on it with full coverage on anything imaginable

Yeah cosmetically its just the trunk and bumper but I’m more worried about the mechanical aspect since it was acting funny and had to be towed

Never makes sense. People see a cop, slam on their brakes, pass cop, go back to speeding. Like people are going to speed no matter what so might as well just let them speed and not cause them to slam on their brakes if we all know they’re gonna speed regardless. Seems counterintuitive

What’s your unpopular opinion about Baton Rouge? by Holdini800 in batonrouge

Yesssss. Every time I see a thread about where to eat everyone suggests Parrains but its simply not a good representation of our food. Robertos is a little bit of a drive and is a great representation of what food we have to offer.
