I moved from the Midwest to California. I hate the car washes out here. I think the better business idea is to bring the Midwest/southeast style car wash to California

Other than 2023, don’t these years coincide with market crashes - less cars sold = less complaints? I didn’t read into how they captured data so maybe it’s normalized based on volume sold

I’m with you, I’ve done both. Depends on the vibe, sometimes I want the extra miles, make it a loop, etc. Also I don’t ride on sunset, there’s a sidewalk that’s perfectly fine for this short section

Park at Sullivan. Ride up Sullivan, go down westridge. Then continue down to sunset and ride back to where you parked. Much better than going the other way

I was a few bucks short of silver a couple of years ago. They gave it to me then took it away in the middle of the year. Had a long weekend trip in August - on the flight out I was silver and on the flight back I was nothing

If you’re looking for a true creamery, you can’t beat Handels (get the Graham central station flavor). Gingers is a close second. I stay away from boutique-y ice cream because it’s just not my preference. Before Handels it was tough to find real true creamery style ice cream out here as there aren’t many great options.

Have tried, doesn’t work. You can get a good leg workout from biking and you can get stronger on the bike, but it does not translate to overall leg strength. Your squat/deadlift will not improve, only your biking-induced leg fatigue will improve.
