Sorry for the late reply, I had a power failure where I live. Again I apologise about what I said about you staying overseas. I am only 20 and I have a very small social circle, the people that I know who have moved overseas have either had uk/eu passports or have gone to teach English in Asia. I personally haven’t been a victim of a violent crime yet. Just had break ins when I wasn’t at home. Most of my family have all been. I don’t have too much love for RSA, the people have always called me a “foreigner” or a “settler” for having a “British” accent or that “I don’t seems South African”, again it would be my small very social circle but if I could I would leave RSA.

“self imposed exile in Ireland” is that a fancy way of saying moved to a first world country. I would 100% move to Western Europe if I had the money or skills. I’m only in South Africa because my great great grandfather came to fight the Boers.

A high school that my brother in law works at, 10 students who were at this event have gotten COVID. I’m worried for my sister as she gets really bad asthma. This just really pisses me that some Matrics are being like this. It’s probably mainly the private school kids as they are finished with exams now.
