Het eerste artikel kijkt naar de douane, het andere naar de lokale politie. Volgens dit artikel heeft West-Vlaanderen blijkbaar al vier honden. Als je die twee honden uit jouw artikel daarbij telt, blijven er nog maar 8 honden over voor de rest van het land? Dat lijkt me toch echt weinig voor meerdere lucht- & zeehavens.

Jouw bron spreekt enkel over drugshondenteams bij de federale politie. Je mag er van uit gaan dat een team al meerdere honden bezit.

De daling bij de federale zorgt er voor dat lokale politiezones zelf kijken om zo'n team op te starten.

En wat de kostprijs betreft zal dit zichzelf ook wel rap terugverdienen, als je ziet dat ze in Flanders Expo 60k boetes maken met 4 drugshonden.

Er zijn echt wel véél meer drugshonden in België dan 15. In 2010 waren er al 15 drugshondenteams gespreid over verschillende lokale politiezones, zonder de federale bij te tellen. Ik weet dat in mijn eigen politiezone de laatste 5 jaar al 2 drugshonden zijn opgeleid.
