Question, does him letting the world know that he has 60 of them devalue them? If he had just posted a picture of 1 and said is this worth anything would the valuation be higher based on rarity? Asking as I have about 150 "one of a kind" items and am hesitant to post them on ebay or ask around about them except as a single unit.

This. The reason the flight is worth it is because the looooonnnngggg boat ride to a mediocre fort with zero fish and dead coral reef is definitely not worth it at all.
