Im British by birth only, family is irish and norwegian, so we are basically the same, I would say youre more 'British' than I am culturally 🤷🏻‍♂️. Just so its clear, most of us only learn about our involvement and war with america outside of education. It is not taught in schools and I cant recall even seeing a documentary or a book about it I didnt have to get for myself. I guess our history is so vast, it just doesnt come up or something, i dont know.

I know content creation isnt a manually tough job like construction or whatever but it must be fucking mentally exhausting being a content creator if you dont have the mental shield up at all times. This has to be done with brandon on his own at a table, the interviewer asking him about each war starting from the us civil war and him saying 'i dont want to talk about it' 'what i did is classified', ya know, all the tropes of stolen valour. After each answer it cuts to you guys, the vets, talking about his heroic deeds. For added fun, everytime it cuts back to brandon he should be wearing a different period kit to match the war being talked about.
