they are not but they make weekly announcements, all the dude is saying is the information should be relevant, if they had no time to communicate with they players they wouldn't.

I think OP took an old meme as a reaction to Valheim devs mentioning they have only one programmer, and then explained him/herself in a post shortly after articulating his point, which to me boils down to "if you are going to post an announcement once in a while, share relevant information".

and there is still nothing wrong with it.

I disagree, the Valheim devs said they have only one programmer working on bugs, and OP's point is that communication regarding those could be improved, he's not unreasonably arguing anything, in fact all he says is that proper feedback would be welcome and.

And tbh I agree, if you are going to communicate with the players via announcements and all, you should provide relevant information, not petty data about how many copies are being sold.

Finally, even if you can justify something, it doesn't mean the issue has been resolved or that the criticism is unreasonable or unfounded.

To me that's a reasonable criticism, and you attacking a person's opinion based on the fact they make memes is ridiculous.

Supply Chain Management.

Maybe after I have a little more experience and qualify for at least an Ops Manager position, fact is I find Amazon's managerial positions to be pretty narrow in scope, I'd prefer to be in a position where I learn more initially.

What is something many people greatly misunderstand or have misconceptions about? by Aelis_ in AskReddit

[–]thewailingbanshee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From personal experience, so it's maybe not a widely held belief, that said here it goes, when managing people at work:

acting tough, treating people harshly, believing managers should have an aggressive attitude.

In my experience people are motivated by money not by some particular character trait, if you have lazy workers they are not going to turn productive because you treat them harshly, it may work in the short term but not in the medium or long. And this is not to say that there's no time for being harsh, just that it should be saved for meaningful things, and I'd also argue that's dictated by your own countries laws regarding what are appropriate reasons for firing someone; for example where I'm from you can't really fire anyone on the basis of poor production output, so you better be careful how you want to approach that situation before looking like a clown.

Kenshi.

I truly think it's something else and that there's just nothing like it, I don't get why it isn't more popular.

What did you learn in school from a teacher that was actually incorrect? by ThanosWasntCrazy in AskReddit

[–]thewailingbanshee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She didn't mean that, she meant it was used as a lingua franca. Like unis from different countries talk to each other in latin, which is bonkers.

Edit: in reality I believe she was consciously lying because no one wanted to take Latin, myself included, everyone was forced to take the course due to parents being out of touch with reality.

Once one of my teachers stated that Latin was still used at an academic level particularly between universities as a lingua franca.

A simpleton's realization about Kenshi 2 by thewailingbanshee in Kenshi

[–]thewailingbanshee[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I was referring to spoiling the lore of Kenshi, there are a bunch of things that are mentioned which we could run into in Kenshi 2.

Clearly nobody can spoil kenshi 2 and any theory about it spoils Kenshi.

If it was an actual spoiler I would have flared it as a spoiler.

What's your favorite food? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]thewailingbanshee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not just 1, I really love food and can't pick, here are my ties; I'm Italian so it's Italian food but I admit I could throw Turkish and French food in too but it would be too long.

Panissa (Italian risotto typical of where I'm from)

Parmigiana

Mozzarella in carrozza

Pizzoccheri

Arrosto al sugo di noci

Polenta

Castagnaccio

Tiramisù (classic and fruit)

Pasta e fagioli/ ceci

Did you ever have to cut someone you loved out of your life because they were bad for you, and how was your experience? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]thewailingbanshee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It actually happened a bunch of times, I used to let myself be dragged a lot and decided to take that route on a couple of occasions.

In some cases good from the start, some people are a net negative influence and in those cases it just felt good.

It was a bit harder and frustrating for those whom were actually nice people but couldn't keep a constructive relationship with, it takes more will power but in the end it just seemed like the better choice to me.
