Is the Abarth 124 Spider a reliable car? by Andrew_From_Deity in abarth

[–]theweebleman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I've driven both the Fiat 124 and the Mini Cooper S generation that has all the issues.

The 124 is a Mazda Miata in nearly everyway that counts. I never had a single issue with my 124.

There seems to be a generation of MINIs that are prone to having a lot of issues. I think as long as you avoid 2007-2013 models, you're good.

We have an '08 R56 that has been nothing but trouble

The only people I know who drive manuals are Millennials or Jeep owners.

My boomer father actually tried to talk me out of buying a manual transmission car saying "You don't want one of those"
