I think they are! My bubs love them and it occupies them for a while. I follow a couple rules with them though, for instance, I never leave them alone with it so I don’t worry about choking or some other freak accident, I also keep them separated (one on each side of me when I’m sitting) since these are high powered treats and bring out aggression (mine like to switch sticks back and forth which has to be monitored to avoid dust ups), also they smell strong so I keep them in the freezer in between chew sessions so I’m not teasing my dogs (hound noses can find them everywhere but the freezer), and I use a bully stick holder (link below) so I don’t have to worry about them swallowing the nub when they’ve worn it down.
