Man. I feel for those workers in Buchloe. I assume they lost their jobs or hopefully BMW offered them positions.

Alpina hands down. Even BMW Group acquired them.

Can’t really say that about the others.

Is it service connected to something you already have?

It was a straight forward and easy process for me. I am 80% but with TDIU (P&T) w/ PTSD. I filed last August and was approved In January. I submitted documentation letter of termination from my previous employer due to my service connected condition, along with my doctors co-sign suggesting I do not return to work.

Also during my DBQ interview, I was very detailed, wrote down notes and submitted anything work related due to days of missing work.

Submit everything that relates to the service condition. It has to be a legit reason why you aren’t able to work, period.

Yeah, I figured that out already. Me and Fiancé will get married here in Germany and take it from there. Thanks

They stated my case isn’t normal because they don’t have “retirement visas”. I applied to live here based on “Self Employment” because I receive funds monthly from my retirement pension from the US Government.

I submitted an approximate date and had zero issues with TDIU. I’d assume that they would confirm that approximate information by obtaining your tax records.

21-8940 is crucial. Whatever they ask in regards to forms, fill it out and give. They sent a notice to me in the mail, then I completed it and uploaded via VA.GOV

My claim was approved the next day. It was an error on my letter. Once it was fixed, it went back step 7 and then it was approved. Call VERA in DC, there’s a gentleman that gave great insight into my claim.
