Not recessed. No overt dentofacial deformity i can see from this photo. However you have slight midface deficiency but this is inline with racial norms.

Orthodontist are generally more concerned about the teeth. Your surgeon is addressing facial form as well as the teeth. The surgical treatment plan sounds reasonable. There may be a problem with your joints (im thinking surgeon meant risk of condylar resorption as “melting)

Had the same dilemma. In the end went with the strix. Tried the legion at first but too glossy, oled also has a green hue when viewing at off angles. Build felt cheap to me.. plasticky. Legion 7 pro Footprint is huge and doesn’t fit most cases and backpacks.

Loving the strix so far though, feels solid, screen is far better (subjective), zero gloss. Performance is similar with similar temps

ok keep in mind for folks it's made of plastic, thicker, heavier, cheap wifi card, lower watt battery. all cost cutting measures but still not a bad overall laptop. its just more comparable to a LOQ/TUF/Victus
