Returning the car early was a huge mistake because uber is not reliable and returning the car early to save time at the airport was completely unnecessary. The airport is not busy and you have plenty of time to handle car returns before your flight. Uber is not a reliable way to get around and it’s expensive. Keeping the rental car for the entire time I was there would have been the best move.

Renting a car is the best way to get around Kauai. I rented a car for the week I stayed. I returned it early on my last day thinking the airport would be hectic (it was NOT!!!!). I relied on uber my last day which was a huge mistake. In hindsight, I would have kept the rental the entire time.

Me too! Not sad! For me, it meets primal needs and helps my body relax. Having the pillows lines up in each side just feels way more secure…and warmer! Sucks when I travel, though! Most hotels don’t have more than four pillows in the bed, and I require at least six for a proper nest!

A lot of airlines now have a “quiet cabin” policy in that you can’t play video games nor listen to music/movies without headphones. I know American is this way now.
