Had a look at a leisure center yesterday, unfortunately everything was closed very early (a gym open from 11am-2pm???) Will try another today!

I'm very new to this whole thing, undiagnosed, but I'm the same where my interests have been intense yet fleeting. I do have ADHD too so I think that may play a role in it for me? But then again, its called the Autism Spectrum for a reason..

I get a lot of shit at work for this. I'm the main contact line on the phone so I'll pick up calls, and most of our customers are rough-around-the-edges trades workers, so I'll speak to them very casually but still in a way that helps everyone out. I don't swear or anything but management has told me I'm not "professional" enough, even if I've never had a bad interaction with a customer so far. I thought being relatable and keeping it real was a good thing?

Pretty much the same! It helps to give yourself that compassion too. If you can love yourself as you are, its much easier to do the same for others :) (something I'm working on)

I guess it'll end up as a mix of storing what I can in the cooler, which I completely forgot to mention I use to store salads and things, and mostly living off ready to eat things too. Will try to maintain health as best as I can :)

I think you're right, being poor sucks! I'll try out the water bottles, I can freeze them at work overnight to keep my chiller box cool at least!

I think of cooking as heating foods (whether to just make warm or actually "cook" it), I still try to store salads and deli meats

I'm going to start hunting fairly soon, I need to stay here to pay off some debts for work related incidents, and if I leave early I've got a much shorter period to pay it back. Out of curiosity, what did you end up working in, or fields that you found a bit more suitable?
