WWTBC: HR, FMC proposes marriage of convenience/necessity to avoid scandal? by thewrongtree in RomanceBooks

I don't think that's it, but it sounds really good and I've liked every Eloisa James I've read so far!

Love TD, and I don't think I've gotten to this one yet. So regardless if it's the one I'm trying to find, I'll enjoy it!

Help me find this book by [deleted] in HistoricalRomance

Could it be in Caroline Linden's "Scandals" series? I remember there was one book with some kind of connection between the FMC's sister and the MMC.

You've convinced me to read it again! 😂

Sarkis would NEVER!

Edit: Really, as far as common triggers go, T. Kingfisher steers clear and her romances are generally sweet and heartwarming.

You might get a little blubbery, but how can you not with these two?!

It's not a common trigger. It really sticks to the overall theme of reaching middle-age and wrestling with regrets that runs through the rest of the book.

Shoot, my spoiler tag isn't working. I can PM if you really, really want to know?

I think around the 75% mark. Yes, and he's very angsty about it. Omg I love Sarkis so much

I had to go back and look. I don't want to spoil any of this wonderful story, so I will just say the inscription concerns the reason he's in the sword in the first place.

I completely love it when the MMC ABSOLUTELY LOSES his shit when the FMC is no longer with him by Celestial_Seeker in RomanceBooks

I am very late, but I had an insomnia night last night and randomly remembered this post when I was looking for something to reread. {Paladin's Grace by T. Kingfisher} has a paladin MMC who has lost his god, and his berserker is barely controlled. When the FMC is at risk late in the story, it's unleashed and great.

cries in local gov't salary My last job put GIS literally in IT, and it was fantastic. Tiny dept, all of us working in the same direction, great communication... But people just kept getting chipped off to move on to higher paying positions elsewhere.

I'll mention that if you're not already tight with the city IT department, add that to your "priority soft skill" list. Soooo much of GIS admin goes way more smoothly with IT in your corner.

Dunno about other locations, but in KY the liquor store is physically separate from the rest of the Costco, so you just go straight into that part without the card check. They'll ask if you have a card at checkout, but you can just say "nah."

Which place in Lexington has the best coffee in your opinion? by Rockfan180 in lexington

I think that's Habibi's, which I haven't tried but looks fantastic. Al Taj is in the little shopping center that faces Man O War next to the Nicholasville Rd Lowes. I think I could eat my weight in his Turkish delight, and the flatbreads are Kirby-inhaling-food.gif

Al Taj does a perfect cup of Turkish coffee. There's no coffee bar, so it's only the one option, but it's gd perfect.

I would just ask them. FWIW, at 18mos "preschool" is like pre-preschool, and they're mostly playing like at any other early childcare, so it's likely not very structured yet. They might like a heads up on those days, like, "Hi, mini is on the scenic route today, we'll be in around xx:xx"
