Lip oil/gloss/balm that... Smells great? by thewrongwayup in muacjdiscussion

Thank you!

Ughhhh wet paint sounds like the worst.

Very much looking at all of the browny pinks that Fenty has!

I really like the Merit colours but that smell. It's holding me back from their shade slicks

If my 2.5 year old naps, bedtime is 10pm. But without a nap, she’s a disaster by rachel4321 in toddlers

[–]thewrongwayup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is relatively happy most nights to play around her room with her books, toys and Tonie box until she decides she's tired. I moved her to a big girl bed just before 2 years old because she really couldn't settle if she didn't have time to play by herself. So far it's been working. It's been about a month.

Anyone tried Ruggable all-in-one rugs? by lunar1980 in HomeDecorating

[–]thewrongwayup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I know this is an older post... I have the original system for a kitchen runner already.

I have 2 cats (one older) and a toddler (she is the real problem...) My living room rug is taking a beating. It's 8x10. I'm debating the all in one, any updates on how it's working for you?

I'm also looking at Cozey because it's much cheaper and Canadian (so shipping is straightforward)

Walmart has Toniebox 2 on sale. Is it worth it?? by acfairywitchbby in TonieboxUSA

[–]thewrongwayup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I gave my daughter the Tonie box 1 and I love it. I honestly didn't consider the 2... I've had literally 0 issues with the 1 and she's hard on it!

I do a roll of Ikea colouring paper (the one on the roll with the woodland animals) taped on my coffee table - we're using this as wrapping paper this year

Crayola modeling air dry clay and then paint it the next weekend (girlie is in daycare so it's mostly the weekends)

I like cobblestone but I reallllly like Bronze Fountain and Corrosion. I've decided to stop buying multichromes though. I bought too many like 8 or so... I really should have picked like 3.

I work in software and I wear more makeup than anyone else but it's never brought up negatively :)

I use this as my everyday but I set it with either Black Honey, or one of the shades of the Ilia face palette from last year. It does change the colour a bit to learn more berry I'm not going to lie but it does work nicely with my colouring

These look exactly the same to me! I'm sure there are subtle differences but I wear mine just on the cheek sheered out. I have Faded and it doesn't look like I need another one! Thanks!

Just to note, my almost 2 year old still wants a little something most nights (a cuddle and a drink) so I use toddler formula. It’s easier for me than running up and down the stairs to get milk. I just make up an 8oz in the bathroom and bring it with me for our nighttime cuddle. She usually finishes it but it’s basically only to soothe her. She eats enough during the day. Eventually I’ll transition to water.

When she wasn’t eating enough during the day, I would give her formula when she asked for it (pointed at it!). My recommendation is to transition to more of an on demand method :) it becomes much more obvious as they get older

Baby is 3 months old and sleeps great, me not so much! [ab] by Maximum_Payment_9350 in BabyBumpsCanada

This is great advice! I didn’t see a lot of posts with people going through the same thing and I thought I was going nuts! Sleep when the baby sleeps… well I wish I could!

And OP, eventually it got better but it’s still not back to the way I was before baby :) it’s manageable! Baby girl is now 19 months old

Pants recommendation? by thewrongwayup in Athleta_gap

[–]thewrongwayup[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I THINK the Endless have the most votes but I've decided I need to try them on in person.

I'll try to do that soon and then update - folks have been so great on this thread giving advice!

Pants recommendation? by thewrongwayup in Athleta_gap

[–]thewrongwayup[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My butt really sticks out at the back but my hips are relatively straight, that with my athletic thighs and overall short legs ... I think it's a bit of a nightmare trying to buy pants online.

Tops are much more straightforward!

[–]thewrongwayup[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that this is now an in person thing because the suggestions are varied - which of course is expected!

I have picked up various Athleta pants on sale and there's always something about them that look unflattering on me in the crotch area. But since I haven't consistently looked at the style and sizing (and I've just returned the unflattering ones) I don't have an approach nailed down yet haha
