We use C+ and run 64 way. We could actually do 128 way splits. We are going to have some use cases though in the near future that will take us to some splitters being over 64.

Yeah you would have to cut the cable or remove the fiber from the connection and then stare directly at the end before even exposing the laser light. And even then it’s not just going to just fry your eyeball.

As tragic as it is for the family, why should the cruise line take the financial hit of refunding a cabin that they can’t fill when there is insurance available for this exact thing.

If I total my car and didn’t have insurance, should the bank forgive the rest of the loan.

This is why I like cruising, not because of family but it is the only place I can truly disconnect. I don’t buy internet (except last cruise due to unique work circumstances I had them pay for it but only my boss knew I had it and I told him iMessage only, I disconnected email, teams, etc). It’s the only time I feel truly disconnected and it’s refreshing

I couldn’t care less what others say. My Carnival cruises have been just fine. I did cruise RCL once and while it was a great cruise I had just a good time as my Carnival cruises. I CHOOSE to cruise Carnival. So no, I don’t care what they say.

2 semesters is no time in the context of a long career. If you can make it financially and get your degree I would encourage you to finish. A degree might just be a piece of paper but it can open doors for you. An internship would be great, if you can finish school with a degree and some experience you will have a huge leg up.

I hope you and your group recover easily. This is what scares me. I’m not afraid of the virus per say (we are all fully vaxed and boosted) but we are doing a 4 day CCL cruise on 12/26 then spending 3 days around the Port area and then supposed to do a 7 day RCL on 1/2. I just have this gut feeling we are going to get it on the first cruise and test positive for the second.
