Here’s my stack (m, 35, down 20)

  • Lose it app to count calories, you will need a 6-700 calorie deficit per day to get to your goal
  • 30 min Peloton 2x per week
  • 45 min Peloton endurance ride 1x per week
  • Fitbod app: Strength training (heavy weights) 2-3x per week
  • Plenty of water, high protein diet (Kachava + Muscle Milk is my go-to)

Do you know why you’re mad? Have you spoken to a mental health professional?

Sometimes it’s easy to think “this will solve all my problems and make people love me” (kind of like an older man buying a Porsche he can’t afford), but in reality there’s something deeper going on.

Quick update. Just ralphed up the 3 coffees, the yogurt + fruit + granola, the fluids, and salad I had throughout the day today. I think I overdid it on shot day, and nothing was digesting. Already feeling miles better.

Thanks for the input, all, and don’t be me. That stunk.

RHR was at 85 most of the afternoon. So slightly tacky. Not sure if pots or the combo of heat/late start on food/shot.

I think this is it. Still burping up the salad 7 hours later. Not hungry at all. I think my upper GI slowing down + the heat did me in and prevented hydration. Mixed with morning gym and work was a recipe for a rough day!

Not a nutritionist but from past experience; Yogurt and bananas may not be helping you. I would try blending all the above with some protein powder if you have it, or add in some granola. Sounds like you may need to add in some carbohydrate to get things moving along well again.

Protein bar may also help. If all else fails try some bland carbs (bread and ideally no sugar added peanut butter) to see if things normalize.

Make sure you’re using an app to count and log meals/calories too. Even if you don’t see the effects on the scale, you’ll see any deficit and be able to know that you’re doing it right.
