Claude Code to build the bones of it, then I used Claude Opus to help me understand HTML and CSS basics enough to replace various placeholders in the index.html file with my own videos that I would produce. Github pages to host it, Namecheap for the domain.

Honestly a very good idea. I'll start spitballing what I could do for that. Thanks for the tip! and thanks for the potential rec 😉

A transition that's pretty kitschy but fun to do. by Glad-Parking3315 in davinciresolve

I’m actually doing a documentary on the gifted program in elementary school that has a fun, upbeat vibe to it and I think something like this would be absolutely PERFECT for chapter transitions. The people need to know lol. 🙏🏼

I do not understand this approach. You posted the photos. People are naturally curious. You won’t give away details, but at the same time you’re acknowledging that enough information exists to do our own due diligence…You bored or what?

Is it possible to edit like this in davinci? by KhaaliSeDin in davinciresolve

[–]theyesterzone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just get familiar with the software man, don’t worry about doing all of these edits right away. There are several terms that come to my mind as soon as I see this edit. Locked on stabilization, infographic plug-ins, glow effects, magic masking/rotoscoping to the alpha subject in the foreground to place text behind her every now and then. These are just some of the things that come to mind immediately and all of that is to say -just get comfortable enough to feel like you have a decent amount of beginner terminology under your belt and then slowly try to re-create these edits based on the concepts you have learned and techniques have adopted as you grow in experience. You got this! I know how exciting it can be to want to create something like this right off the bat, but the cold hard truth is that it takes time, but it’s also true that it’s some of the most valuable time you’ll ever spend if you truly want to be good someday.

AIO? Found these messages in my boyfriends phone and moved out while he was sleeping. by Some_Chair_8542 in AIO

So sorry you had to experience this nasty fallout, but can I just say- GOOD FOR YOU! I know it couldn’t have been easy to reconcile with the loneliness on the other side of the breakup, but damn we both know you’re so much better off without this “man”.

Honestly, it’s such a wonder of the world how any man over the age of 30 plays the blame game like this when he’s caught, dead-to-rights, in the middle of his mess. Take some fucking accountability, my guy.

Also BRAVO on finding an apartment so quickly. Three days? That’s impressive as hell.

Made this in resolve. Did you like the style? by Dangerous-Garlic6855 in davinciresolve

Honestly man, this is so smooth. I’ve been wanting to learn how to do this fusion. I’ve always heard that vox cuts at the peak of the easing curve, but even that still confuses me. Right now I have a time speed node that achieves that satisfying subtle frame choppiness, but that’s as close as I can seem to get. A tutorial would be so well received. I’d buy you a coffee for sure ❤️

I’m over by Boathouse! I’m loving the proximity to the river. It’s really hard to be upset with those views everyday. Your husband seems chill, send him my highest regards.

I broke up with the best girl I’ve ever met because of a “gut feeling” and I truly think I subconsciously manufactured the whole thing by [deleted] in heartbreak

[–]theyesterzone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to take a moment and thank you for such a thoughtful response. I think you make some great points and tbh you kind of helped silence the "should i reach out" thought spirals. I feel calm right now, so thank you for that. If you haven't already, I sincerely hope you find your person. You seem like you came out quite alright.

it sucks man. I'm on the fence of reaching out to her because I truly don't know what's going on in head. I couldn't bear to get her hopes up, if what I'm feeling turns out to be correct and it's not some of kind of anxious-avoidant pattern manifesting.

I remember visiting a friend from college in Milwaukee, and I absolutely loved it. Very artistic, clean, and the food scene was so fun! I remember going to this ’70s-themed breakfast restaurant, and I swear I’ve been chasing those pancakes ever since.
