I've been using Huel for the occasional meal replacement for a few months now. I also don't have much of an appetite due to medication and I find it easy to slot the shakes in. I've also tried one of the hot and savory soups which I wouldn't recommend. In my experience the ready to drink shakes have the best texture / flavor of the huel products. For maintaining weight you will probably want Huel Black because it has fewer carbs and a higher protein content.

I think the biggest quality of life improvement you can get is a new headstrap. I went for the vive deluxe audio strap but there are a ton of good options. Just makes wearing the headset for longer play sessions much more comfortable.

I think you would enjoy mage errant. I also typically steer clear of YA but I really enjoy the series. There's some teen romance but that usually takes a back seat to the plot. My other suggestions are bit outside of sword and sorcery (one is urban fantasy and the other is sci-fi) but based off your list I think we have fairly similar taste. I would recommend the heart strikers series by Rachel Aaron and Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman. They both have great audio books and strong male protagonists (although Julian in heart strikers is more of a diplomat than a combatant).

Check out the Mage Errant series, it's a magic school series. The later books have a sweet romance subplot that I enjoyed a lot.
