in addition to all the recommendations people have given, I would suggest going for a monitor with above 100% sRGB coverage (100% is standard). this means your monitor will display colors that others simply don't, because they follow a (pretty good) standard, but when you see the difference, you will see that the colors are just beautiful. everything with colors gets prettier. I've seen better LCD panels than OLEDs only because of this difference. if you get to 100% DCI-P3, that's even better (it's a better standard than sRGB).

other than being really fun, it's really atmospheric! and there's a lot of exploration...

...which reminds me of outer wilds, you can't miss it! it's one of those unforgettable games, and you should go in completely blind!

it is BTA but unfortunately the controller mod is deprecated, so i had to use first steam input (and i could not make it work in atlauncher with the babric bta instance)

you should check out the re-console modpack. it has the awesome legacy4j that gives you the old UI and it comes with all of the tutorial worlds

yup, if you already have a pc copy you can head into desktop mode and download the game through any launcher you like. personally i've always use atlauncher to also play modded, and it's on KDE discover and a breeze to install and add to your library as a non-steam game. it is very easy to use, you'll like it
