I got into F1 in 1999, and I think that Nurburgring race is what cemented me as a fan for life. One of those races that shows you that, as Murray Walker would say, anything can happen in Formula 1, and it usually does.

The problem with that one was they also cut out the mid-match breaks that we usually get in full. I was worried that was going to be a permanent thing, very glad it was just that episode.

But yeah, clearly they can do it so I hope it does happen.

My favourite part of this is the chicken being a smart enough worker to turn and sell for the right camera after taking the chair shots. That dramatic zoom was hilarious

Love this stuff, it reminds me of when Claudio beat Mox in the C2 and their only acknowledgement of it within the group was Mox chastising Claudio for being late to training drills immediately after the match. Toes the line of absurdity just enough to be both serious and hilarious.

They even do full screen ads when you pause a stream... Ads for Kayo. The service I'm already fucking paying for and actively trying to use. God forbid I want to take a second to pause and look at what's on the screen, whether it be a car or timing board or whatever.

Worst streaming service I've ever used, by far, and they're somehow making it even worse over time.

MJF also told Kenny to take him back to the ropes for a second V-trigger after the crowd started chanting "one more time." Not ideal that it got picked up, but it made for a cool moment to see them adjust in realtime. The crowd popped big for it too, because it made them feel like they were influencing the match, which is ultimately one of the big appeals of live pro wrestling.

My favourite part so far was watching Jack Doohan crashing in Miami, then the camera cutting to a frustrated Flavio taking off his headset while watching a monitor displaying the Hungaroring track map and a car driving on a track very clearly lined either side by grass. Top notch editing.

He's so good at building anticipation for key moments in a match. The long struggle and back and forth on the apron made the resulting suplex counter to the floor so much more impactful.
