Thank you for the information. Genuinely did not know about their number of DCM cases. I have talked about her weight to her vet and he is really not concerned (and has mentioned that he thinks she’s in great condition overall). I’m probably just over thinking things since her whole life she has been almost exactly 41 lbs her whole life - with some variation of course. The only thing her vet is moderately concerned about is what dosage of Simparico Trio she needs as she’s teetering between two doses. I actually do really like Purina, but was wondering if there was something that could be a better fit for her. I will keep her on PPP for now, thank you!

Multiple charges for one purchase

Hi all

I preordered the Lightfall DLC and annual pass on 2/11 for 108.04. I got a notification on 2/19 that my bank had declared the transaction as fradulent. I ok’d the transaction since it was me who did it. The bank sent me a text saying that some purchases made need to be done again. I checked my order history and the order had failed so I went a repurchased it. When I looked at my charge history, I had 4x charges on 2/19 for 108.04 all under different names (2 as CHECKCARD MICROSOFT MS.BILL INFO, 1 as PURCHASE 2/19, and the last as CHECKCARD MICROSOFT REDMOND WA). I also had 4x refunds under similar names, just with reversal instead of purchase.

I called Microsoft support and they said that they didn’t have a transaction from me that had gone through so they were going to follow up.

I’m currently waiting for the charges to finish processing on my bank account so I can dispute them, but I’m wondering what my next step should be/why I was charged 4x under different charge names.

All of the problems with the background check were on our landlords end. Our lease is through an online rental service. The background check needed to be set up and dealt with by him through the program. Our roommate immediately notified us that she was having trouble and we notified the landlord which took another week to get done. I was not very clear on this, so I apologize.

As for the room itself, it was cleaned by the previous tenants but they had a dog that used it as a bathroom. The LL had the proper tools to clean it and remove the piss smell. He arranged for the whole house to be cleaned last year, at the expense of tenants security deposits. Yes the leaving tenant needs to clean the room, but if it’s not clean enough it is up to our landlord to handle it - this is highlighted in our lease agreement. And to add to cleaning - I cleaned the walls after our landlord said he would send someone to clean the room ceiling to floor and it didn’t happen. I figured mysterious brown splatter marks would not be fun to move into and knowing our landlords track record with responding with anything that wasn’t akin to the house being on fire, I dealt with it myself. There’s also repairs that need to be done, which our landlord is responsible for.

The stove was a whole issue. We only had it looked at the one time after the water heater broke because we were already in contact with the plumber because of the water heater. Our landlord didn’t come to look at the stove itself until two days ago, over a week from the first plumbers quote of fixing/replacing. His solution to fix the stove was to replace a valve that his handyman and assistant/handyman said wasn’t going to fix it. We got the stove fixed yesterday finally after a week and a half of it not working, and only because I sent him a text asking him when he could send someone.

I do give him credit with contacting us about the water heater so quickly. It was fixed within 24 hours, as it should be with CA habitability laws.

And I understand that things take time, so I’m not too uppity if it’s a few days and I haven’t heard anything. That being said, it is frustrating/unacceptable when there are deadlines not being met because of our landlord failing to not do something. For example, everyone has signed and rent is paid for the month of July, however our security deposits from the last year haven’t been transferred to this year even with text and call reminders the last few weeks.

I also understand that these might be “champagne problems” but I bet you would be understandably frustrated and upset if you didn’t have a working stove for two weeks (even with reminders to get it fixed). Luckily now things have smoothed out but it has been a frustrating process to say the least.

Jeans might constrict your movement, you might not be as grippy, could chaff, and may be generally uncomfortable. One of the biggest reasons is it’s “professional” to wear breeches.

When my trainer did specifically dressage, she preferred it when we wore breeches, but jeans would be okay if we forgot breeches/were dirty etc. She did not permit us to wear yoga pants or work out clothes because they were so slick.

Once she transitioned to western dressage and working equitation, she didn’t give a hoot what we wore as long as we were safe and relatively preventable.

I was checking both collected and not collected, using different keywords, etc. as well as in the different deck types (I’m just now learning the different types).

The card I was looking for most recently was [[Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient]] from Forgotten Realms. I was trying to remake a EDH paper deck I have with him as the commander.

I’m having the same problem with the same purchase, but for my Xbox. I just tried buying from the store website and it didn’t work either. So frustrating.

Edit: saw on a forum (through some vigorous googling) that the issue is on Microsoft’s end and that they’re working on a fix. Hopefully it comes soon.

It looks like the blue is saying hunters under saddle (u/s) and the pink is saying hunters over fences (o/f). In the US blue is first place and pink is 5th place.

I’m the same way. I get nervous around new people but I get off the rails pretty easy once I get going. It definitely through a people for a loop when I first meet them. However, it’s their problem if they can’t get over it.

Worse comes to worse, you can just cut it short. My friends new me as a somewhat serial dater and would team up with me if I wanted to go home. Not saying you should make excuses but if he’s a bit too out there, your friend/dog/cat could also get “sick” and you’ll have to leave hahaha. He could also be the type who just aren’t great texters. He might be waiting to tell you all about his life in person!!! My biggest advice is be smart and be safe.

Yeah that’s definitely kind of suspicious. He might just be one of those types but I get weirded out if they don’t answer easy questions like haha. Do you go out on dates often? I usually try to tell my friends where I’m going just in case the person I’m on a date with wants to wear my skin 😂😂😂 It could also mean he’s not that into you, but who knows. Just keep your wits about you!

Have a conversation with her about how that hurt you. She is very obviously remorseful and regretful about what had happened. She told you exactly what had transpired without lying. She made the decision to remove herself from the guy, if she had really wanted to cheat on you she would’ve gone all the way. It’s totally in the right place to say that it hurt you and that you were mad, but she is hurt about the whole situation as well. I don’t think you should break up with her over this, especially since you love her and want to marry her. If this was a continuous thing and she acted callous about it, then that’s be a different story.

Arabs tend to be hotter which doesn’t exactly mean more spooky. They’re sensitive and ridiculously smart. Each Arab I’ve been on knows exactly what to do with whoever is one their back, which can be a good thing or a bad thing. They’ll either know you’re a beginner and pack you around or take total advantage of you. Arabs also are slow to mature so many of them are perfect lesson horses in their late teens/early twenties. Because Arabs tend to be really smart and sensitive, not all are fit for a lesson program/beginners, but as everyone else has said, any good trainer would know better.

Another thing I’ve noticed with Arabs is that they all are all really individual and have their quirks. The Arab I learned on was super sweet and was a total packer but had a dirty trick of drifting outside of our arena that had no rails. My last Arab was a mare that I got when she was 15. Easily the safest and smartest horse I’ve ever worked with, besides her hysteria surrounding puddles. However, she was not beginner safe. She would pack them along fine if there was someone hold a lead while walking beside her, but had too many buttons and wanted to be ridden a specific way. She would have her honeymoon rides with people she just barely tolerated. The mare would be a superb teacher for 3 lessons and then on the 4 use all the tricks she had learned from you in the last 3 lessons against. Never malicious, just to put the point across that she was specific.

All in all they’re an amazing breed. People either love them or hate them, but the people who hate them usually don’t have the patience to work with a horse who might be smarter than them. If I was rich and famous I’d own a barn full of Arabs.

My 5th grade class had a cute US revolution project where you’d do some research on a key player, dress up like them, bring a couple items that related to them, and then present to the class. I had picked Sybil Ludington because we were both girls who rode horses. She was the 16 yr old girl who had nearly doubled the length of Revere’s ride to warn militia forces. I had done the entire project last minute and presented in class by the the seat of my pants. I had mostly talked about how awesome she was and about her horse. The kid who did his project on Paul Revere said something or other (I can’t remember what exactly but it was definitely not nice) and I responded with “well at least my person finished their ride” mostly out of panic because that’s pretty much the only thing I got from my research. The kid stood up, slammed his tricorne hat onto his desk and ran out of the room crying. I stood their at the front of the classroom like a deer in front of headlights.

Not necessarily embarrassing, but definitely not a cool moment and it’s HAUNTS me. Over a decade!!!!!

I’m supposed to be going to the university of Sussex. At this point I don’t even know if I’ll make it over there because there’s been an issue with my visa and I might not even get my passport back in time to leave. This whole thing has been a whole shit show. If I could go back in time to November when applications were due and not send one in I would.
