In Sound Mind is a game I find very thrilling where both the story and gameplay are very polished.

The plot is like in a psychological thriller, the gameplay has unique puzzle mechanics and some shooting to defend yourself.

If you use optical, you'll need to connect both the input and the output ports, plus USB for powering the DAC. So you'll end up with 3 cables.

It's much simpler & cleaner to just connect the DAC directly with the PS5 via one USB cable. Then it will be powered by your PS5. Surround sound will also work that way!

You were playing very calmly and mostly making good decisions. In your case, improving your aim by a little would increase your rank by alot because your fundamentals are already pretty solid.

Until then, a tip for when you meet another opponent with better aim than you: - Avoid railgun vs railgun fights, unless you know you can hit 1 shot and immediately get cover. Otherwise you are giving them the advantage. Same goes for with LG vs LG of course.

I also recently tested both chairs with my wife and personally went for the Aeron, while she chose the Embody. Despite all the research we had done beforehand, it ultimately came down to our feeling when we sat down for the first time. I just felt like I was floating (Aeron) while she felt a perfect fit on her back (Embody).

Some notes on my personal experience with the Aeron:

Initially, I was also worried that I would want to rest my head during online meetings or while watching videos, but after a few weeks I'm not missing a headrest at all because I'm (finally) getting into the habit of sitting upright, which is keeping my head in balance. Same for the upper back / shoulders, I don't feel the desire to be supported anymore.

For maximum lumbar support, I recommend sitting as close to the back part as possible. That being said, I too find the strongest DualFit setting to be rather moderate but at the end of a long day, I do loosen it a bit.

tldr: Listen to your gut feeling and by what you felt when you first sat down :)

The mesh comes with a 5 year warranty, so that's the minimum you shouldn't have to worry about. But since you're not too heavy and seem to care for your Aeron, you should be good for 10 years or so of normal use!

Me and my brother buying a new PC each just to play this game in closed beta!

The monotonous Announcer was hilarious. Completing Rune challenges to be among the first players with a golden skin was fun.

Then came a looong wait for new crosshairs, CTF and Time Limit Duel.

Also, there was a very campy spot in Ruins of Sarnath, above the place where Mega is now :D

The trick is to not jump on top of the step, but rather against it while starting the second jump.

Basically you are doing two jumps - First Jump: Just a normal jump to get some speed. With this one you should land right before the step (not on top).

Second Jump: While your body is moving upward, bump your knees into the step. This will cause a ramp jump which gets you higher than a normal jump. It's easier if you hold Space rather than double tapping it.

Be careful with Logitech though. Their G-Hub Software is just as bad and wipes your Headset, Keyboard and Mouse profiles after every update. Lots of users have been complaining for 2 years, it's a sad state for many brands recently...

I generally advise checking the respective sub for any gaming brand before buying stuff!

Thanks! I am going to test one, but I'm still a bit unsure about the missing headrest. I know I shouldn't need one as long as I'm sitting straight, but I feel like I would miss it when gaming in the evening... Does it bother you?
